Well....another jewel that came to me via my good friend Dale Plantz out in Nevada. First play and it immediately reminded me of another of Dale's finds, "Rock Boulevard". Extremely well done with a very nice production for an indie release. Has some qualities to satisfy a wide variety of musical tastes. Grinding rockers with good axe work, some mid tempo melodic songs with nice keys and some extremely smooth AOR ballads that will delight the AOR-sters a great deal! |

Recorded out in Reno, Nevada, this saw a cassette only release in 1988, so don't go looking for the CD! Every bit worth tracking down on cassette media though...... |

Excellent hard rock band from Nevada. Reminds me of Rock Boulevard, Theatre, Schoolboy Crush, Pleezer. Very nice production and they ROCK!!! I hope someone has the sense to release this on cd with bonus tracks/rarities and maybe a live show. If you see this pick it up and add it to your collection. Only on cassette, but I put this killer release on cd-r. This is an excellent band compared to the other indie crap that is out there. I rate this 8.5/10. |

I just got turned on to this site so I'm not sure if any of the above posters will even get this. Iam/was the singer of RAWKON, my bro Mikel, the bass player. We both appreciate the love for RAWKON. That band was a lot of fun for both of us. We only released on cassete as CD's were just coming to market at the time and were expensive. That was our first real studio experience. Delbert, the reason RAWKON and Rock Blvd. sound similiar is because I was the singer and a song writer for both bands; R |

(continued)RAWKON first then with the Blvd. guys. Both Reno bands. Personel Update: Twin Cannon has passed away, God rest his soul, a very wonderful and unique human being. I do not know what Hairlong is doing. Pete is a producer, writer and musician in Los Angeles. He is very good and quite successful. Mike and I are both still playing. Mike in "Pushbox" (amazing band) and I am in "FM revolver" check us out on myspace.com Take care, Marc. |

Marc, both Rawkon and Rock Boulevard are great albuns in my opinion! Any chance to see Rawkon onto CD format? Do you have an original K7 tape for sale? Adriano - adboimel@uol.com.br |

Despite the average production(Is this one on CD?), the music is good. "I Know You Know" is my favorite track. Good Melodic HardRock. 7.8/10 |
