Well. I can't deny Chris is a great guitar player. He can do what he wants with his guitar (that includes being able to play at 200 miles per hour). However i miss some feeling and originality in his music...don't get me wrong...all the song are great but they are quite similar to each other. This is the reason why although the running time of this album is only 33 minutes i have the strong feeling that the album is too long!!! |

I also agree that the songs do all sound the same. They have great guitar playing but if you mixed up the last 4 releases you couldn't tell which song went with which release. His new release called CRUNCH is different in that it has a harder edge and the songs are not speeding thur the cd. |

A la altura de sus mejores discos, muy bueno, pero algo repetitivo. |

Excellent rippin' hard rock all the way! Rob Rock and Chris Impellitteri sure did make a great team! Some of the tracks do sound similiar, but that doesn't bother me; I still enjoy every song! |

GRANDIOSO!! Vale que los temas son bastante similares, pero que un americano saque este DISCAZO en 1996(años criticos para el metal USA)es para ponerle un monumento a este tio.Rob Rock en su linea INMENSO. |

Yes, he is a Malmsteen clone, but a good one, and with Rob Rock he had one of the best singers in buisiness. |

Absolutelly, what a vocal staff!!. With Eye of the H. album, this is my favourite one. Some people say that it sounds similar, what do you want if every song has got a high level? |

Even better, if possible, than Answer To The Master. More great riffs and soloing from guitar-master Chris Impellitteri and world-class vocals courtesy of Rob Rock. These guys have chemistry; a must have! Favorite tracks: I'll Be With You, Kingdom of Light, Rat Race. |

"17th Century Chicken Pickin'" rules. |
From: Geoff | Date: February 10, 2005 at 6:22 |
Very heavy, but when they ease up fro tracks like 'For your love' it's really quite a sight to see/hear. If you like Malmsteen you'll dig this. A lot of boring tossing off, but a few highlights. |

One of Impellitteri's best CDs, thanks to some superb songwriting combined with Rob Rock's peerless vocals and Chris' frenzied guitar assault. The band screams along at a frenetic pace, only occasionally slowing down to catch a breath and experiment with a slower track. It should be mentioned that Rob's faith begins to seep into the lyrics here, as they definitely have a heavier Christian overtone than before, albeit nothing that should turn off those with a distaste for in-your-face preaching (Rob is too skilled a lyricist to resort to blatant Bible-bludgeoning). Melodic metal maniacs as well as Christian metalheads should definitely check out this masterful metal symphony. |

One of the best metal albums ever! Thank you Crhis and Rob! |

After the phenomenal "Answer To The Master" of 1994 comes this one that even though it kicks a** is not that consistent IMO...my faves are "Father Forgive Them","Kingdom Of Light"(great!),"17Th Century Chicken Pickin'"( )& "Rat Race"...Chris'marvellous as usual and the rest o' the guys are very fine too in here...enjoyable...86/100 |
