This release is where chris starts his speed picking. A very good release which in my book chris never put out a bad one. It's hard to pick a favorite album. The track I like the most on this release is "The Power Of Love"

No es precisamente mi favorito, aunque es un buen album le falta algo.

Explosivo comienzo ,luego decae un poquito, aunque en general muy recomendado, como todos sus cd´s

I think the best Impelliteri release alongside "Screaming Symphony" and "Stand In Line". On this album we have Rob Rock singing his best and Imp plays...his usual perfect playing. My favorite track is all of them, no mediocre track on the album.Definite buy for people who want something heavier like Fifth Angel and Leatherwolf.Prefer those three releases from his latest ones.

The first 2 tracks are great hard rockers, 'Power of love' is also pretty solid and most the songs are decent hard rockers. This is probably the most commercially accessable Impelliteri release, with the closer, 'Dance' being a track not usually heard on his albums. I think it's okay, but again I'd not call it a great album overall. The best is early on and the rest is pretty standard hard rock.

This my all time favorite Impellitteri release. On this release Chris moves away from the neo-classical sound a little. He still shreds, but the songs on this offering are more groove oriented. He slows down at times and plays with more feeling when the song requires it. Rob Rock is, well, Rob Rock. He is in top form. Every fan of hard rock/metal fan should have this in their collection along with Victim of the System and Answer to the Master.

awesome, to be honest ive never understood the yngwie,neo-classical label given to impellitteri, this is top notch hair metal in the vein of warrant(check out `wake up sally` if u don`t believe me). Sure theres some shredding come solo time but in general this is excellent, well played and produced hair metal....stand out tracks include `when the well runs dry`, `power of love` and `endless nights`. 9/10

The difference between Yngwie Malmsteen & Chris Impellitteri is simple: Chris uses his guitar-shredding skills in service to the songs, while Yngwie uses the songs as an excuse to showboat his egomaniacal guitar wankery. Both musicians are exceptionally talented axe-slingers, but in my opinion, only Chris is worth listening to, and this CD is a good example why, loaded with scorching melodic metal that still retains commercial undertones (something sorely lacking on Malmsteen's projects, by the way). Trust me, this album, while not as superb as subsequent Impellitteri efforts, is still a pleasurable listening experience, and you defintely won't have to just grin and bear it when this puppy is in the player.

Hell yeah!!!..liked this release a lot!!!..my favorite is "Endless Nights" but also the album is packed with extra goodies such as "When The Well Runs Dry","Ball & Chain"(rocks),"Power Of Love","Under the Gun" & "Dance"..as u can notice for me this album was quite rounded...get it!!!.95/100...Rob Rock!!!!

Grin & Bear It, Wake Up Sally and Ball And Chain are my favourites here. Great album with Rob Rock's powerful vocals and Impellitteri's shredding.

To me this will always be the best Rob Rock-fronted record that they ever recorded.Songs were strong and memorable...really get in your head. The fretwork serves the tunes, the rhythm section (Ken Mary / Chuck Wright) perfect and Rock's vox just freaking sensational.Their newer stuff while still good is just all over the map with the tempos and speed, too over-the-top.Great record!
