The riff in Don't Let the Sky Fall on Me is the best riff I've ever heard. Period.

Ken Tamplin is a great singer and guitar player! The opening song Dancing on a Volcano is really inspiring. That's real metal! Peace out.

My favorite Tamplin CD as this disc is much more focused than any of the others. While I have always praised Ken for his diversity on his solo material, I much prefer this more straight forward metal/hard rock disc. It's really a shame that Ken didn't have the right label backing and management because his material is as good as anything that was on rock radio at the time. His musicianship is stellar, as is his songwriting & vocals. My Tamplin page: http://www.nolifetilmetal.com/tamplin.html

Benson records- his THEN label, was more geared towards contemporary music acts like Carman, and DeGarmo and Key... SHAME! They should've taken more time with Ken Templin. THIS cd rules!

Just spun this disc today and forgot how rockin it was. Ken has a great voice and his band can rock. There are 11 cranking tunes on this album ~ no fillers. This is Tamplin's best album IMO. Long Live Christian Rock!

A good album. Testify is my favorite ,you will notice the guitar solo in this song is almost the same as the guitar solo in the song "Little Liar" off of the -SHOUT/TAMPLIN-"At the Top of their Lungs" album.

This is the first cd I picked up involving Tamplin and I must say that I like it. Sometimes I get scared when I see somehting listed as "CCM". I'm worried that it'll be to weak or cram a message down your mouth. Not the case here. I've heard a lot of good things about Shout and I'll probably go for that one next.

My God!!!...isn't this one his best???...this is my first Ken Tamplin that i bought and man!!!..this is just a bloody blast of an album!!!..loved every single track except probably the last song "Suspicious Eyes" coz basically isn't as powerful as the rest...since song number one "Dancing On..." up to "Movers And Shakers" are killer songs!!!,very enthusiastic ones!!!,Hardrock at its best 4 sure..a special mention to "In The Lap Of Legends" wich is just great!!!...anyway if you are decided 2 buy an album from the former Shout mainman, then undoubtebly one this one!!!...100/100

very good hard rockin release by Ken Tamplin back in 93 ,full of great guitar riffs ,powerful vocs and nice choruses!the songs are pretty sounding the same ,but Ken way of singing makes them interesting!highlights are "don t let the sky fall on me","slave trade", and 'dancing on a volcano".this one has a great hard rock sound and overall an enjoyable release!
