In my opinion this is the best Tamplin album. Spin this disc once and your hooked ! No disappointments. Scott Van Zen , Lanny Cordola, Joey Tafolla and Ken do most of the guitar work. Ken sings all background vocals. Some other musicians helping out gives this album a rich sound. If you have this album don't let it go !!

Cool album...Still has the SHOUT sound. The Christian messages aren't that obvious which suits me fine...Musically it's top class.

Great solo debut album undoubtebly...is there is a very skilled singer/guitar player musician around these days then Ken Tamplin can take the award easily..."Livin' For My Lord","Never Give Up"(nice AORish),"Not Alone","Goin' Home","Straight Between The Eyes" & "I Hear Cryin'"(nice soft)...recommended...90/100

pretty fine debut by KEN TAMPLIN and his many friends !everything that was released back in the day had a certain quality and this is no exception!especially the guitar work is excellent and the songs are enjoyable!"livin for my lord","goin home" and believin is the hardest part" are the highlights!this one has become rare in our days and i suggest if you find it ,you grab it instantly!
