If you see any errors or omissions in the CD information shown above, either in the musician credits or song listings (cover song credits, live tracks, etc.), please post them in the corrections section of the Heavy Harmonies forum/message board.

The music discographies on this site are works in progress. If you notice that a particular Baby Animals CD release or compilation is missing from the list above, please submit that CD using the CD submission page. The ultimate goal is to make the discographies here at Heavy Harmonies as complete as possible. Even if it is an obscure greatest-hits or live compilation CD, we want to add it to the site. EPs and CD-singles from Baby Animals are also welcome to be added, as long as they are at least 4 songs in length.

This one is far inferior to their debut. The debut had plenty of memorable hard rock songs, with good hooks, choruses and staying power. This disc is well played, but the songs just lack any real appeal, IMO. Here in Australia you can pick it up for $2 and I don't even own it. It's not bad, just not really a good listen... IMO of course.

agreed geoff it didn't have the songs of the first album and was much heavier also still a good listen but i wouldn't say i play it that much i tend to go back to the first

disagree with the comments about this release.there are many remarkable songs in BABY ANIMALS s second release as "because i can" ,"don t tell me what to do" and "life from a distance".production is excellent ,the band in perfect condition and overall is a good rockin release

Probably best consumed after an entree of their monster self titled debut album... Shaved & Dangerous is a little more considered and polished than its predecessor. Lacking some of the swagger but none of the quality of the first. The hits give way to some more mid tempo, assured, developed compositions. Stoopid, At The End Of The Day & Bupata kick ass whilst Don't Tell Me What To Do, Backbone, Nervous At Night demonstrate the growth in songwriting department. There's a great cover of Free's Be My Friend. More of a grower, but a stayer... P.S. The voice and guitar are so delicious
