What can I say, this is pretty good! Full on balls to the wall cock rock with totally over the top music, guitars and vocals and totally sexist lyrics. A tip of the hat to the glory days of MTV and Twisted Sister film clips. Given the tracks vary in age, there is a little sound difference across the album, but the production is fairly consistent. For those who miss the heyday of Manowar, Axe and Judas Priest. |

Rycheage is pretty much spot on with his description. Some of the lyrics are pretty funny .. whether they are done tongue in cheek I dunno! I only bought it as it was cheap(ish) and although it doesn't get loads of spins back home it's not a bad release. Like the band...love the carpets!!!! |

This was a big surprise! Half of the songs deliver great balsy hard rock with edge. The vocals are top. Some of the songs have some saxes reminding Aerosmith (which I didn't really like). Still the straight rockers take me to hard rock paradise. There's a lot of rock 'n roll rhythm in here, some tracks will even please Motorhead fans, hehe! And there's a fantastic semi ballad melodic masterpiece called Hold me closer! I wish I had more stuff of them....8/10 |

Wasn't expecting too much from this but I really enjoyed it & it improved with every play. It has a late 1970's US hard rock feel with some great straight ahead rockers that remind me of Starz & some more groove & swagger style tracks similar to what Aerosmith were doing at the time. Loads of great choruses & my personal highlights are "Dirty Magazines", "She got money", "Shame" & "All tied up". Well worth a listen for any straight-up hard rock fan. |
