Freddy, i'm with you on this one. This is a good release. Remember the first time i heard 'Get it right the first time' and i was hooked on it. 'So fired up' (the follow up to this album) is the best Le Roux album. This one is well worth buying though. |

Another band that deserves a lot more attention. This is fine pomp/AOR and A MUST HAVE ! Also 'So Fired Up' is great stuff! But forget their first releases. Weak ! This is the real deal ! |

In some ways their direction was similar to another AOR identity in Duke Jupiter. Jeff Pollard always had a great voice, but on this album he's stormin' in the best tradition of Bobby Kimball (Toto), while the music veers straight into Pomp Boulevard without waiting for the lights! |

The third if I`m correct and best Le Roux album. Some great tunes on this one with - Get It Right The First Time, Roll Away The Stone and I won`t Be Staying being the class tracks. Excellent album, So Fired Up is also excellent. |

One of the best classic Pomp Rock/AOR albums. Excellent, clear production by Jai Winding and similar in style to bands like Alliance (1982), Hotel, Kansas, early Toto and Roadmaster. Opener and rocker "Let Me Be Your Fantasy" was covered by both Sucarcreek, on their Live At The Roxy album and DVC - S/T (1981). "Get It Right The First Time" is a wet AOR dream of a song with a great chorus. Some really nice outro guitar solos in both "Roll Away The Stone" and "I Won't Be Staying". Essential classic, 9/10 in my book. |
