If you see any errors or omissions in the CD information shown above, either in the musician credits or song listings (cover song credits, live tracks, etc.), please post them in the corrections section of the Heavy Harmonies forum/message board.
The music discographies on this site are works in progress. If you notice that a particular Y and T CD release or compilation is missing from the list above, please submit that CD using the CD submission page. The ultimate goal is to make the discographies here at Heavy Harmonies as complete as possible. Even if it is an obscure greatest-hits or live compilation CD, we want to add it to the site. Please only submit official CD releases; no bootlegs or cassette-only or LP-only releases.
EPs and CD-singles from Y and T are also welcome to be added, as long as they are at least 4 songs in length.

If you don't have any of their albums already, this is the one to get. The track selection is excellent, plus there are a couple of surpises for the die hards. Great songs from a great band. |

All the best tracks from the early albums make this a fantastic hits package. The live tracks are are surprisingly poor for such an awesome live act but this is still great. 9/10 |

A good collection but missing some key songs I would have included. I guess you will have to buy all the albums! |

Pretty good sampler for anyone interested in checking them out, and about the easiest one to find, too. Still don't know what's up with that cover though. |

The Y&T songs are timeless classics. In England you can get this CD at the London HMV, Virgin Megastore and Tower Records. The other great works Earthshaker, Black Tiger, Meanstreak, In Rock We Trust, etc., are on "Import" and literally unavailable. The record companies need to promote Y&T's music to a younger generation of fans. This isn't crash, bang, wallop nonsensical heavy metal. This is beautifully structured rock with classic guitar phrases. Younger people need to be made aware of Y&T. |

No Contagious? Great album nonetheless. |

Contagious came out in '87. Good album though! |

There's some great stuff on this disc, but the band's best era came with the albums "Down for the count", "Contagious" and "Ten" IMO. A era that this album for the most part doesn't cover |

I hate to say it, but I don't actually have the early Y & T albums (I only have 'In rock we trust' and after), so this is a great CD for me, as I like what I hear, but like a Helix or Black n'Blue best of... it appears to cover the early years well and although I can enjoy the songs here I don't feel as though I need to go out and buy the early discs. I love 'Forever' and 'Summertime girls' is cool too. Must admit I wouldn't say no if the albums were on offer to me either |

For anybody newly discovering Y&T, this is the place to start. It covers the bands best period for sure. Of course there are plenty more great Y&T songs from their whole career to be heard & this disc will just wet your appetite for more. |

Nothing more to say than the comments above. My fave tracks are Summertime Girls and Meanstreak. 85/100 |
