I just got this and so far I think it's highly overrated.

From: poison arrow Date: April 14, 2003 at 17:49
Not sure how highly it is rated, but I enjoy this album. Some cool songs and a catchy sound. I say that cos it's one of the few cds I go back to frequently and play all the way through. Comparable to better lizzy borden (visual lies) perhaps.

Exelente y ultimo disco de Odin antes de separase y formar LostBoyz. Tal vez tiene muchos temas lentos pero Randy ┤O en este disco canta como nunca y Jeff Duncan trabaja major q┤ en Don┤t Take no for an answer.Lo mas destacado 12 O┤ Clock y Fight for your life. 8/5 de 10.Recomendable

From: rene Date: April 25, 2003 at 13:50
Yes, some people still remember this band. Everything they released is just increible. One of the best U.S METAL bands ever.

From: MALLORCA┤S Rock Date: May 7, 2003 at 12:49
Pues a mi me parecen terribles , ˙nicamente destaco el fight for your life , pero si es que SON HORRIBLES!!!!!!!!!!!!

From: King James Date: May 12, 2003 at 1:31
Ignore what the others are saying, Randy O. is one of the best metal vocalists ever! Low, high, in between, he sings and screams all ranges. His work in both Odin and Lostboys is legendary. He never got the fame he deserved while less talented singers like Bret Michaels did. Whatever happened to Randy? I wish I knew. Why isn't Odin's other CD 'By the Gods' on this site? It's a treasure in my collection.

From: Gavin Plaatsman Date: May 23, 2003 at 2:21
Well, remembering their debut E.P., simply called 'Odin', is to me like going to 7th heaven. It's a perfect (mini)album which was then and even more now very hard to get. I've only got a recording on tape, but I've played it 'grey'. I agree that Randy O is fantastic; what a pitch in his voice. And the songs are fantastic, I've never heard such quality in metal ever again! Just listen to it and everyone who likes exceptionel metal must agree, I think!

what a poser of a singer such an ass wipe. but again good musically.one more hair band bites the dust. the only good hair band remains WARRANT.

From: JGC Date: June 10, 2003 at 10:39
I don't know this band very much, but I don't like them at all. I saw some gigs in a video called 'The Metal Years' and they really suck. I can't understand what the hell are they doing in the same video as Ozzy, Paul Stanley or Megadeth. I don't know how the sound in a record, but I have enough with their gigs.

From: Benn Date: June 27, 2003 at 0:35
Odin owns ye all!!! Great band, great album. Pick up this album and 'By The Gods' and you have all of the recorded music by one of the most UNDERRATED and UNDERAPPRECIATED bands of all time!

From: drummerdude_28 Date: September 21, 2003 at 19:02
Hey is this the same odin thats on the 80s documentary???

From: Rene Date: September 22, 2003 at 9:47
Yes, its the same band thats are on the DECLINE OF...THE METAL YEARS, with all those girls and the singer saying that if he doesnt make it big and famous he will kill him self. Did he suicide on the end?????

From: tomcat Date: September 22, 2003 at 10:38
Odin still plays now and then in the Hollywood area.Randy o didn't kill himself but he started something beautiful. He is a house builder for the homeless..not kidding..God bless Randy o.ps: did you knew he also worked with Michael Angelo and Guy mann dude?

From: King James Date: September 23, 2003 at 4:46
Randy O. is the coolest!

From: Crimson Date: October 28, 2003 at 23:44
That's cool that Randy O. turned out to be a decent guy. Good for him. I like the Odin stuff myself. As far as I know, Odin recently reunited for just the one gig and that's it for now.

From: Andreas The Kid Date: November 24, 2003 at 19:03
The track '12 O'Clock High' is the only track I have heard from this one. It's got a real cocky attitude, really great!

From: Eduardo W÷rner Date: March 18, 2004 at 16:41
I`m from Chile, South America, and it was very difficult for me to get this album. I saw Odin in 'Metal years' and I loved them. I wish I can see Odin on stage live, but I`m too $%&/%& far. THE BAND REALLY KICK ASS!!

From: martinsane Date: May 23, 2004 at 4:53
? in the Decline movie around the time of the strip scenes, at Gazzari's, etc... there is a band playing/background music, not one of the bands on the soundtrack and not a featured band, but anyway the guitar and vocals are fanfreakin'tastic!!!!!! does any one know the band and if they released anything, I must know/have! thanks martinsane@msn.com

From: Metal T Date: May 23, 2004 at 15:25
The songs are 'Gazzari Shuffle','Glam Slam','Life's A Beach' and 'Love Masheen' and I think the name of the band is 'Trixx Toyzz' or something.Whether they've ever released anything like a cd or demo,I have no clue . Hope this helps .-------

From: METALMACHINES@A Date: May 29, 2004 at 15:49
RANDY O HAS THAT VOCAL SCREAM THAT STICKS TO YOU BRAIN SOMEHOW.THIS BAND WAS A SOLID UNIT W/GREAT BASS & GUITAR WORK HERE.ON DECLINE THE BASS PLAYER SAYS 'WE WANT TO BE IMMORTAL ROCK STARS'.GIVE ME A BREAK!!!!RANY O SAYS'LIKE ZEPPELIN OR THE DOORS'.WHAT WAS HE THINKING?GREAT STUFF THOUGH!

From: Kip Date: August 26, 2004 at 13:23
This album kind of blows. Basicaly, it's nothing but filler and the only bread and butter song is Modern Day King, which is actually one of my favorite songs...

From: Kip Date: August 31, 2004 at 17:55
I take that back, 12 O'clock High is a kool tune. But this album is mostly a filler sandwich. 2/10

From: Frank Venom Date: October 13, 2004 at 22:27
Si alguien sabe donde se pueden bajar mp3 de Odin y London por me pasa la informacon a frankvenom@hotmail.com .Gracias

From: christo Date: November 25, 2004 at 19:46
12.o clock high kicks ass , modern day king is a nice slow melodic number, but the best track has to be stranger tonite a class melodic metal track, not consistent but they showed they had talent with some songs

From: fernan95 Date: January 17, 2005 at 5:23
Increible disco, todo un clasico en estados unidos, antes muy dificil de encontrar.recomendado

From: z4roxx Date: January 27, 2005 at 14:09
Killer stuff by Odin in this one!Perfect hard rock/metal well played and produced. This cd will become lovely after some listening,IMO.9/10

From: ROCKER76 Date: March 22, 2005 at 6:50
I recently ran across this album, but it was on Perris Records (based in Texas) and it does not have the best sound quality. And after a couple of listens, the only track that impressed me was the power ballad 'She Was The One.' The rest of the album was simply dull hair metal with average riffs & vocals. If you're an 80s metal fanatic, by all means pick it up. But don't expect much.

From: cook_jaime Date: July 8, 2005 at 13:15
Odin! Odin! Odin! Just picked this up and it's pretty good. Not great, but good. It's really hard to take them seriously after seeing them in TDOWC2.

From: Priest On E Date: April 6, 2006 at 10:47
Anyone know anything about the TRIKK TOYZZ from The Decline Of Western Civilization 2? Like martinsane says, during the strip scene at Gazzarri's. I know the two songs played are 'Love Masheen' and 'Lifes A Beach', but theyre nowhere on the internet, not anything on google. If anyone has any of thier stuff please let me know fuckin great band killer LA metal sound with awesome vocalist.

From: Metal T Date: September 22, 2008 at 18:53
"12 O'Clock High","She Was The One","Stranger Tonight","Im Gonna Get You" and the title track were always worth the price of admission for me.Perris reissued this disc back in 2001,as it was only previously available on the JAP Victor label'.Seemed to me that they had a bit more of a metallic edge'than most "glam bands" they were slumped in with-especially early on.Always dug Randy's vox,Duncan's licks and that solid rhythm section.A love or hate band for alot of folks but a d*mn good one nonetheless...
