Classy release. Very different to earlier solo efforts and well worth a listen. Quite 'coldplay'ish in mix, very good songwriting though from the silver tongued swedish ex-rocker. Perhaps someday, we'll get another Europe release....one can only hope. |

Yes, one can only hope for a Europe reunion! Europe is my favourite band and will always be, but Joey seems to betray his roots completely by releasing this BritPop album,. There are certainly good tracks on it like 'Superhuman', 'Losers', or 'Sometimes' but it just ain't rock. |

I suppose in Joey's own words 'nothing is constant except change'. Europe were a fantastic band with some unforgetable tunes and perhaps there will be a chance to see them live again some day.......... |

Joe tries modern but forgets to write good songs. I want to like this album, but it makes me want to take a nap. There's nothing on this record that grabs me. 5/10. |

I don't see why Joeys solo projects always rank under ''heavy'' in stores and on the internet. I mean, this ain't hard rock! In my opinion these lyrics are really good, even better than the ones he wrote for Europe, they tended to be kindda mainstream. ''This could be your favourite song, if you let it. Maybe all the chords are wrong, but that's how we made it.'' I luv that part! But the music makes me wanna take a nap too. Let's celebrate Europes reunion and hope for good lyrics AND music! |

Guys, are you crazy??? Joey Tempest has been one of the most creative rock musicians in the past two decades! His songs now are different from "classical Hard Rock", but hey, this isn't the 80's anymore!!! Great songs, great production, GREAT ALBUM! In fact, all of his solo albums are really, really good!!! CONGRATULATIONS, JOEY! 9/10 |
