Awesome cd all around. Just great straight ahead melodic hard rock. And real American sounding too, surprisingly. Best tracks on here are Freedom Fighter, We're Not Saints, Hold On, and I Did U No Wrong. Just about everything on here rocks! |

Hard Rock ala Electric by The cult. |

There's a lot of bad things to say about this album but before you do so put "Freedom Fighter" on and crank your stereo...That's some damn hardcore rock'n'roll!!!! ACDC go home! |

Man, this Cd keeps surprising me today!! "Hold On" is great too!! It strays a bit from the cliche rock formula employed by Steve Jones on the rest of this album...Didn't Nikki Sixx play on this one too??? |

This reminds me of The Almighty, only more Rock n' Roll-ish. Good stuff! |

Totally cool guitar style. Overlooked today; too bad. Steve doesn't detune or any of that nonsense; just ROCKS. Cool voice too |
From: Gar | Date: June 5, 2004 at 3:56 |
Steve's vocals are a bit flat in places, and occasionally the songwriting isn't up to snuff... but aside from that this is a pretty damn good straightfoward slab o' hard rock. The participation of The Cult is definitely evident(not a bad thing at all). Steve is actually a better guitar player than he gets credit for. Pick it up if you haven't already(it sells cheap enough). |

This is the real Steve Jones, after that mess of the last album. Basic hard rock with some of his punk influence. "Freedom Fighter" is a stand out track. 6/10 |

Yeah, I agree that the previous album sucked, but this album is one of the best ever, hands down. Just straight-ahead hard rock with tough-as-nails vocals. And to all those over-aggressive drummers who screw up otherwise-good songs, listen to the drumming on this! It should be a lesson! I wish more albums sounded like this one! |

Suprisingly very good hard rock. There's nothing special about it but I really liked this one. The opening track "Freedom Fighter" really gets it going and is the best track on this album. Followed next by another rocker "We're No Saints". There are a few fillers but overall it's a good hard rock album. |

Another victim of MCA's late 80's/early 90's zero publicity strategy. Good solid hard rock, no frills, no bullshit. My band used to cover Freedom Fighter, always got the crowd moving even though they hads no clue it was a cover... |

Excelent Hard Rock album, much better than his "Mercy" one."Fire & Gasoline","Freedom Fighter" & "Trouble Maker" are songs with guts!!!.There's is a little of The Cult influence ("Ceremony" era...).Shamely as far as i know, this guy haven't recorded anything else...90/100 |

From: hair metal again | Date: November 5, 2015 at 11:04 |
excellent hard rock release by STEVE JONES with the valuable help of great hard rockers like Ian Astbury,Nikki Sixx!back in the day everybody jumped on the hair metal train and made his sound more hard rockin..Steve is no exception and the result is very very fine with great guitar sound and straight hard rock anthems like "freedom fighter",'fire & gasoline" and "trouble maker"!bought it in real time and enjoyed it much |
