the follow up to the classic "ish" album, some seriously great music but not as succesful. musically it was as good, but probably wasnt as catchy.

Nice follower to the band's debut album "Ish" but not as strong as the aforementioned one,in fact none of the other 1927's releases have the strenght to be compared with the band's best effort IMO...in here you have some good songs in the shape of "Tell Me A Story","The Other Side"(the best cut of the album and a nice one),"A World Without You" & "A Day Like Today"( )...enjoyable...86/100

Pretty good followup to their first album, a bit better on the tracklisting than the first one (although the last track also seems kinda out of place like in their previous effort). Not as effective as their previous album, but still a pretty good effort. The Other Side and Africa are basically the same song, or maybe a song divided in two parts if you think about it. Favorite Track: The Other Side. Rating: 7/10.

Tell Me A Story is brilliant. The song gets stuck in my head and simply will not Leave.

pretty good release for 1927 with a fine production and remarkable musicianship but the songs arent that strong and the choruses should be catchier!their sound is on the lighter side but it goes fine ..standout songs are "the other side" and "tell me a story"
