If you see any errors or omissions in the CD information shown above, either in the musician credits or song listings (cover song credits, live tracks, etc.), please post them in the corrections section of the Heavy Harmonies forum/message board.

The music discographies on this site are works in progress. If you notice that a particular 1927 CD release or compilation is missing from the list above, please submit that CD using the CD submission page. The ultimate goal is to make the discographies here at Heavy Harmonies as complete as possible. Even if it is an obscure greatest-hits or live compilation CD, we want to add it to the site. EPs and CD-singles from 1927 are also welcome to be added, as long as they are at least 4 songs in length.

Deep Purple performed for the first time. Mick Jagger had his 40'th birthday. Kiss released Hotter Than Hell. Lita Ford was born. ............THATS WHAT HAPPENED IN 1927....And Michael Jackson had his first nose job.

Perhaps it relates to this, which happened in April of 1927..."Australian Parliament 1st convenes in new capital, Canberra." Also I believe a young Freddy de Keyze invented AOR that year as well.

this cd is 1927 with a slightly harder edge.i saw them perform about 1.5 yrs ago in a club to a small group of disinterested people.the lead singer eric played all guitar, the keyboard guy just made noises, and there was the drummer.they had no bass player,no lead guitarist.there was no backing vocals, all the classic songs didnt sound right.sounded like U2 mixed with techno.not the 1927 off the cds.they played a few "new" songs and talked about a new album, but theyve said that for last 10yrs.

More or less with the same scheme of "The Other Side" and obviously far away from the killer album "Ish"..."It Ain't Love","Scars","Big White Bird","Kaleidoscope Eyes"(nice),"All The Stars"(the best cut of the album IMO,a good AOR mid tempo)& "Ladybird"(nice)are my faves...85/100

An OK album but no more than that. The band feels a bit out of place in the 90s and it shows, bringing some Alternative Rock influences to their music (some stuff sounds like INXS for example). The lyrics are also a bit mediocre in someplaces (not that AOR is a genre famous for its lyrical content but...). Rating: 6/10. Favorite track: Kaleidoscope Eyes.
