to all you "english" speaking people out there......this album is a killer, a lot of great tunes on it, both soft and a little harder...great australian lite aor.."compulsory hero- a great pop-rock ballad", "That's When I Think Of You","You'll Never Know", great tunes...listen to it at least..

From: Geoff Date: March 24, 2005 at 3:35
This is some pretty damn fine Aussie AOR! Yes, it's very lite, yes the entire 2nd half of the album has it's face wrapped around a dog's rectum, but I'll be f*cked if the first half isn't great! 'To Love Me' is a beautiful melodic opener, even with it's pissy drums it is a great song, 'That's When I Think Of You' is actually sensational IMO, and a highlight, 'If I Could' is a lovely ballad, 'You'landa de pop o de AOR,yo pienso que tienen un sonido bastante personal y caracteristico en el cual aglutinan conceptos de ambos estilos.

From: juan carlos Date: March 22, 2007 at 23:36
"If I Could" es mi super-tema favorito, junto a "To Love Me" (Me recuerda a sus Coterráneos de Icehouse y a la voz de Iva Davies tambien), "That's When I Think Of You", "You'll Never Know" y siguen en ese orden... Calidad a no dudarlo. 8.9/10

From: Carlos A. Date: March 23, 2007 at 11:46

From: juan carlos Date: March 23, 2007 at 13:28
Saludos.

From: Rafo Phoenix Date: March 27, 2007 at 9:33
Hey Geoff tambien hablas español y gracias por la apreciacion regards for you too.

From: juan carlos Date: March 28, 2007 at 20:56
Saludos.

From: YIRO SEVENTH Date: August 15, 2007 at 21:12
AMAZING!!! MAGISTRAL!!!

From: YIRO SEVENTH Date: August 15, 2007 at 21:20

From: YIRO SEVENTH Date: August 15, 2007 at 21:26
SUPREMO - OBRA MAESTRA!

Good AOR disc. Eric's vocal is amazing. "If I Could" & "Compulsory Hero" good tracks to the disc.

From: rick kerch vzla Date: September 5, 2011 at 20:32
Oh i remember buying this album on vinyl just when it came out in 1988 while living in cold but lovely England ...wonderful release of these aussies...this album was comprised of 3 hit singles with the names of "That's When I Think Of You","If I Could"(tender ballad)& "Compulsory Hero" being the first 2 songs out of the 3 ones my all time faves...but wait, the album offers more..."To Love Me"(great!),"You'll Never Know"(nice AOR shot),"All The People" & "Give The Kid A Break"....such an honour for me to have lived a breathe the end of my teenage time basically in 1988...thanks the 80's for all that great music you gave us...this album...an straight 89/100

From: AORSoundtracks Date: October 30, 2012 at 0:04
"Thats When I Think Of You", "You'll Never Know" and "Propaganda Machine" are my fav tracks. Very soft album, but really good. 80/100

From: Mattias Date: March 20, 2016 at 19:33
This band was criminally overlooked in the end of the 80's and especially "That's When I Think of You" should have been a huge hit. That song is one of my all time favorites. I just love it!

From: Auslander Date: April 24, 2021 at 23:13
The backstory to this fine album is the singer was appearing on a variety show on Aussie TV. The guitarist (ex Moving Pictures) was watching and then jumped in a car to find Eric and start a band. The rest is history so to speak. Like Geoff said earlier, the first half of the album is high quality AOR lite and the second half is filler. But the first half is so good that you can forgive them. Best track: That's When I Think of You. Rating C+

From: gfranciscop Date: June 19, 2021 at 22:20
Pretty good album with an amazing first half filled with great tunes. It gets weaker on the second half, with some forgettable ending tracks. It would have been a lot better with another tracklist order. Not too heavy or too soft, it's a very decent album overall. Best track: That's When I Think Of You Rating: 7/10
