I don't like it much. I see it as a copy of Yngwie, but with a not good guitar player. |

ETERNAL FLAME’s style of composition is characterized by original ideas and solid technical craftsmanship. Inspired by the styles of the 80’s and 90’s (YNGWIE MALMSTEEN, RAINBOW und DEEP PURPLE) the actual strength of the band lies in its assimilation of today’s sounds. The band combines transparent and up to date keyboard sounds with a well-established heavy guitar. |

The guys definitely rock, but again, you will find this is heavily accented European style hard rock. These guys remind me of a Jeff Scott Soto era Yngwie Malmsteen, with plenty of hard guitar riffs interspersed with solos and powerful hard rock vocals and keyboard flurries. Vocalist Michael Shinkel also reminds me of a more virile Klaus Maine (Scorpions) |

GOOD CD 80/100 not a classic but OK anyway ! Like a cross between earlyTALISMAN/JOHN NORUM and RAINBOW/RISING FORCE but without the magic ! The guitar player is just OK ! But if you like 80's EURO/SWEDISH melodic metal that's for you |
