AWESOME, SIMPLY AWESOME!! I HAD TO HAVE THIS IN MY COLLECTION! |
From: David | Date: March 21, 2003 at 10:31 |
Really good late 80's, early 90's feel good sleazy attitude driven hard rock! It's great to hear bands still like this making music these days. The only BIG problem with this cd is the terrible production! Man, these guys could be every bit as good as say Firehouse. |
From: Melodic Boy | Date: April 1, 2003 at 2:14 |
Good stuff from a band that never made it big. I don't think the production is that bad considering there wasn't any record label money to throw around. The CD is worth getting just for the awesome ballad ANGELS SING. |
From: Rycheage | Date: April 3, 2003 at 1:39 |
Excellent hard rock. "Give Me Your Love" and "Rock Till You Drop" smoke. "Always And Forever" is an awesome ballad. This has huge written all over it. |

Well, well, well...Chali Cayte on vocals then it must be good!!! I loved him for Tour De Force...Can anyone give me a detailed description??? |
From: MJ | Date: October 30, 2003 at 0:34 |
WOW!! The notes Chali can hit!! "Give Me Your Love" has some awesome harmonies in it! "Rockin' In The Back" is just FUN!! "Angels Sing"..beautiful ballad. "Trouble"...NUTHIN' but attitude!!! But "Always And Forever" (to me) is THE song on the album. MAN!! The bass in "Rock 'Till You Drop"!!! Pete Ruello (Pyn Siren) shines!! Then "Angels Sing"....ACCOUSTIC!!! Heavenly!! This CD came to me as a surprise........WHAT a surprise it was!! |

Great cd. You sort of have to excuse the production, because this is actually their demo from the early 90s, when they were trying to get picked up by the majors. Sadly, the days of real rock had given way to two-chord flannel grunge crap. |
From: Dean | Date: January 10, 2004 at 13:08 |
The production on this is great compared to the monstrosity that is the Passion Risk cd. Some really cool riffs on this-awesome sweep tyoe picking in the end of the solo of "give me your love" The style of the riffs almost kind of reminds me of a more commercial Leatherwolf. |

Hey Rick, thanks man for giving us lovers of melodic rock another undiscovered gem to listen to. You guys should've been huge, but as Don said, the truly awful grunge/alternacrap scene had taken over, with losers who can't play or sing whining about how everything sucks and how shitty their lives are and how pissed off they are. Good luck to you, hope you are still making music. As I said before, ANGELS SING kicks major ass, and would've been a monster if it had been released in the hair band er |
From: MelodicBoy | Date: June 13, 2004 at 1:27 |
Whoops, ran out of space. I wrote "hair band era". Sorry. |

Well, they tried to ruin this CD for me by telling me they used a drum machine, but nothing can kill songs this good. The first track is perfect to start things off with. All the rockers are great, in fact, as is the lovely 'Angels sing'. 'Always and forever' is a beautiful track, but for me the highlight of the album belongs to the amazing 'Everything'. F*ck I just love this song! As good as it gets... truly. Great commercial hard rock CD! |
From: Chad | Date: October 23, 2004 at 21:34 |
Yes this album is this good! My favorite track is Always and Forever but Rockin in the Back is a close second. Metal Mayhem has to be commended for making this gem available. Angels Sing is a nice ballad but the rest of the album is killer too. If you love 80's rock, this is your fix. You cannot go wrong with this purchase. Get it, put it on and rock out! |
From: 80sMetal1 | Date: July 4, 2005 at 17:44 |
This is a very good hard rock cd. These guys remind me a lot of Whitesnake, esp. with the crunching guitars & the production. Give Me Your Love sounds very much like Whitesnake and Rockin In The Back is a kickin song as well. But outside of the Whitesnake comparison, these guys have their own distinctive sound and that's what I like about em!!! |
From: metalguf | Date: February 24, 2006 at 12:13 |
These guys are very good!!! Pure hard rock when it's best. Do not miss this baby even though the production is a bit lacking. Still it is a MUST HAVE for any melodic hard rock fans. |
From: z4roxx | Date: March 30, 2007 at 14:55 |
Love every C.Cayte's bands guys(except Heyday maybe),wondeful commercial hair metal/hard rock influenced by first Tour de Force release.Excellent demos material when you can also forget the decent production but I am glad to hear all this material on cd!!!Great stuff here with any filler...9/10! |
