If you love 80s U.S METAL with melodies that this is your record. Fans of MALICE, LEATHERWOLF, TT QUICK, ATTACKER....BUY OR DIE. |

Two songs off this album on the soundtrack of the movie "The Hidden" along with other killer music from a band called "The Truth". Great album, truly one of the best i own still- holds up really well. Vic Hix has a new band- Aftershok, also good stuff. Highly recommended. |

Yeeeeeees, I agree. Together with Breaker they once ruled the clevland scene. |
From: Dean | Date: January 16, 2004 at 11:50 |
Rene- Add Armored Saint and Tokyo Blade to that list. Bands that played pure straight foward no frills metal. Highly recommended. |

Yes DEAN, SHOEMAKER and METAL WARRIOR, we are all right, this is just an increible U.S METAL ALBUM. I also love their debut album. I think its never put on cd but if you can find the vinyl, BUY OR DIE. |
From: Dean | Date: June 11, 2004 at 17:00 |
Rene - the debut is available on cd but as far as i know it's a bootleg. Either way it's done pretty well because the sound is pretty good if it was ripped from vinyl as it most likely was. I know i have a copy of it lying around here somewhere. |

Solid US power metal. It's not Manowar, but still pretty good. |
From: keeper | Date: January 28, 2005 at 8:54 |
Great tunes in this one! One of the highlights of the golden era of NWOBHM. |
From: rick kerch | Date: February 6, 2005 at 7:50 |
Bloody, bloody great!!!!,that is i would say.Straight forward metal without any justice. The second one is good because of it's catchy songs but this one kicks ass. They came now in 2004 and probably will released a new album (which i think they haven't had)Please be back for good!!!!!!!!!!!!!. |

This band got lost in the glut of "hair metal" bands coming out in the late 80s, but they were a fun and fairly heavy group with above average songs. Fans should check out Vic Hix's new band Aftershok and their new album "Burning Chrome" released 1/4/05 on Auburn Records or their independent release "Unfinished Business". |

Very, very good. This record can match any DIO album in terms of melody. And the lyrics are agressive, too. Strong melodies and agressive lyrics, aren't those the reason why we love this kind of music? |
From: Figge | Date: August 7, 2007 at 20:23 |
Vic Hix isn't a very competent vocalist, if you ask me. Some good songs and cool riffs, but the voice ruins it all for me. He sounds like a crossbreed of Ron Keel and Minoru Niihara (Loudness), but not as good as anyone of those. |
From: Metal T | Date: August 9, 2007 at 20:32 |
"Falling For You" and Steel' are great songs.Vic's vox tend to be the dealbreaker for some.Killer band! |

good release by SHOK PARIS back in 87!classic US heavy metal music with great guitars and power vocs.the songs are ok but nothin spectacular and the mane attraction here is their sound in general which is very strong and balanced."on your feet" and "silk &steel " the highlights!i d say that is essential for heavy metal fans |

Fans of Warrior,Wasp, early Icon and mid 80's Loudness will love this band!!!...a straight to your face Melodic Metal songs backed up with a vocalist,Vic Hix,that sounds enormously ala Parramore McCarty of...Warrior!!!...my fave tracks are "Go Down Fighting"(a kick a** starter!),"Steel And Starlight","Rocked Outta Love","On Your Feet","Exhibit A" & "Hot On Your Heels"(the best cut of the album IMO)...track 11 is the B/T of the CD(i own the vinyl,so i don't know how this song is like)...recommended...88/100 |
