Yeeeeeees, Shok Paris, Clevland US metal at is best. Not as good as their Steel and Starlight album, but all tracks are great, only the opener is weak.

Yes. I agree that this album is not as great as Steel & Starlight, but it is great nevertheless!

not the best example of fine us metal but this release got its moments... i always liked the cover back then ... favorite song: the opener "the american dream" i wasn't aware that it was released on cd... tomcat@dolfijn.nl

Shok Paris RULED THE EARTH! Luv Steel & Starlight! Concrete is really happening but the production values make the tunes suffer a bit. Check out Shok vocalist VIC HIXX in his new band AFTERSHOK www.aftershok.com They are less POWER METAL, but none the less still very good!

The best SHOK PARIS album is still their first GO FOR THE THROAT from 1984. A clasic U.S METAL album. CONCRETE KILLERS sound to me like MALICE (licence to kill) and LEATHERWOLF (streetready or Leatherwolf). Very good.

well...another great shok paris-album, but have an ear to theit "go for the throat" and "steel and starlight". They are really brilliant and one of the most fantastic heavy-classics ever!!

I remember when I used to own this one! That was a long time ago. It's rough, raw heavy metal but pretty good if that's your thing. Very rough vocals.

I remember watching MTV and seeing the video for "Concrete Killers" & loving the band. However, trying to find the cd took me awhile. But I finally tracked it down at a good price. I like The Heat and The Fire, Away Too Long, Get It Right & Concrete Killers.

Not too bad but not great either since IMO the vocals are rough and in and out of key. Some good music and guitars though with some good songs which the singer sounds decent on a few of them makes this worth checking out. If the singer was better this would be really good. 73/100 "The Heat and The Fire" is my favorite on this.

pretty good heavy metal releasy by SHOK PARIS with a commercial feel!Keavin Beamish in production ,rough vocals and and straight heavy metal songs with melodic choruses is what you get!"windows","away too long","concrete killers " and "the heat and the fire" are the highlights.enjoyable

Very solid album!!!...with a couple of great songs in the shape of "The American Dream" & "One War With The World"...plus some other good moments in such ones as "The Heat And The Fire","In The Dark","Find A Way Out" & "Memories"...i missed the track "Get It Right" which is a B/T of the re-issue i guess(i own this one in an original tape format)...recommended...89/100
