niagara's debut stands as one of the best aor/hard rock albums to come out of spain period!.i think this album could be considered a milestone in the spanish aor circuit as this album has opened many doors in europe for other acts to follow.stylewise they could be described as bombastic melodic rock akin to europe(out of this world era).tony cuevas proves to be a commendable vocalist with no trace of an accent in here.production's not brilliant but does the job in this case.good one indeed!!.

yesssssss, you are right Rob. This is my favorite spanish Melodic hard rock album ever. In my opinion far better then SANGRE AZUL records. I love this album so much. All the songs are just increible. Any hard rock fan from the 80s will love this album. It came out on vinyl all around europe. On cd its a little hard to find today.

I jsut wanted to add my two pennies worth and say that i had an old vinyl copy of a Niagera lp which wasnt this one but before it. I just wanted to see if anyone had any info on it and if its available on cd. For the record i thought they were a cool band it was always on the death deck along with my dan reed lp and as i remember it was a cracking debut chocka full of hooks and neat little melodies and a sign of things to come. mail me on martianmcfry@hotmail.com

Very thin production really ruins this one a bit, but is still high quality melodic rock. Easily their best album, and for my money is the only one worth tracking down if you don't have it. "Take My Hand" is a monster power-ballad, and although they stray into hard-rock to no great effect at times, this is mostly a top class release.

I didn't like it "that much" and don't think is worth a 9.00, but it's ok in a spanish-melodic-rock fan. The only true kick ass tune is Secret Lover (great key board/up-tempo AOR tune) and maybe Walking, the rest feels avarage. Sangre Azul, Shalom, Manzano and Jupiter beat them!

These guys are a damn good band if you ask me. Good musicians, reminding me of Marchello (especially the 2nd unreleased album) and the melodic side of Malmsteen even... at times. Either way, they write a bunch of good songs and make this a very good CD. Thumbs up, recommended and I'd like to find myself the original to be honest.

WOWWWWWWWW!!! Hey Boys this a Killer and a Masterpiece AOR album, Hard-AOR, Melodic Hard-Rock, All in one.

Finally got this gem. I think "Walking" is very scandinavian styled like GLORY. "I will be there" is sounding more like compatriots HIROSHIMA (especially the intro). "Take my hand" is a superp ballad --even if not worldclass, it's VERY near. It reminds me of TREAT's "Best of me" a bit. The rest of the songs are a bit too heavy for my taste, but are not bad. Production is not the greatest but OK either. It's typically "cool" 80s glam rock stuff. 7/10

"Walking" es mi favorita de lejos, luego "Now Or Never" y "I Will Be There". Saludos. 8.5/10

This is a Hard Rock album with some keys only (it ain't AOR).It reminds me of early Dokken. The songs are strong ones with the typical vein of the 80's.Also a good & solid singer (Cuevas) is in it and for a spanish one is quite oustanding."I Will Be There" is far the best but also the one that gives the album a Title "Now Or Never" and "Secret Lover" are worth too.Anyway,if you have the chance to buy it do it but don't expect too much (in the good sense of the word)...to open mind critics.75/100

good music ,great songs but the main problem is the voice of the singer who is average.the background vocals on the choruses are very weaks.they are at million miles away under def leppard.and the ice on the cake the production is very cheap.
