| While their 1991 release "Bareback" was geared towards the "hair band" crowd who wanted their music laced with innuendo & sexy choruses,"Dead Ahead" is a collection of bluesy rockers ala Cinderella minus Keifer's raspy vocals."Ride On","Vancouver Mover","What's This Thing","California Freedom",& "Rebel Road"(power ballad)are all VERY memorable tunes,that will stick in your head after giving this CD a spin or two. I didn't expect much going in, and was pleasantly surprised by this effort!

| A good collection of bluesy hard rock. Fans of the first CD "Bareback" will love this. Production is clear and the vocals are crisp. Excellent effort.

great cd! i liked "bareback", but this is much better. as Whiplash said there are some really memorable songs on it, which points at a better release. i think this one is as well for bluesy hard rock listeners as for fans of the sleazy/hair stuff - not because of attitude, but on me this record has that "have fun" effect - and that´s what sleaze/hair means to me.

| i just listened to "bareback" again - forgot how good that one is. so i take it back when i wrote the new one is "much better" - i like them both equally, good band!

| Bareback was great and this is excellent as well, better than I thought it would be considering the time between releases, more bluesy but still rocks out, Vancouver mover is cool and Rebel road is a brilliant song. Great work guys.

| The CD has trouble picking a direction, the songs go back and forth from catchy pop hooks to straight ahead rockers (even within most of the songs) kinda like Winger does, where they can't decide if they want to be fun like Poison or powerful like Dokken, and while Winger is good enough I can still listen to their alternating style, Wildhorses is not and I find myself rather board trying to listen to them.

| One of the few reunion cds’I can recommend.If you like their first cd you’ll like this one,it’s the same vein with an inhevitable little modern sound but the style is very close than the debut.Sincerely the last song’s part is not very good like the other but decent anyway.8/10.

| What are you guy's listerning to coz it's not Dead Ahead. This is in no way like the first it's grungy, and that's about it... Like Impaler said it dont know what direction it's going in but to me it sound's like modern crap. If you like the first dont get this, Bareback had great hook's and vocals this I could only take about 30 second's of each track utter rubbish...KEEP ROCKIN ALL!!!

| I WOULD HAVE TO SAY, "THE DRUMS" IN TELL ME SOMETHING GOOD ARE A JOKE. JOHN LEVESQUE PERFORMS MOTOWN IN VEGAS WITH MANY ORIGINAL MOTOWN ARTISTS. .TELL ME SOMETHING ABOUT THAT.

| This is very similar to the first CD which is quite impressive when you consider 12 years are between both of them. This has a good mix of hard rockers and bluesy ballads.

| very good comeback for the WILD HORSES in the same sound & quality ,but with worse production(especially the drums)!great band with a clear hard rockin approach and always capable of writing down good songs like "ride on','what s this thing",'rebel road "!not as good as their explosive debut ,but still a good album
