Concept album this time for Thin Lizzy. They don't pull it off as good as others have, but songs such as "Don't Believe A Word" are still incredible. 9/10 |

Wonderful album! Songs just don't come any better and more heartfelt then 'Borderline'. The one vinyl I have almost worn out through constant play. Wonderful |

Never you mind any criticism young man. Great creativity on this one. |

The third album in a long line of brilliant records from Lynott and Co. This one is a concept record. The story is about an unlikely hero, Johnny, who saves a young damsel in distress. "Massacre" is an intense dual guitar attack. Don't Believe A Word is a hard rocker that sounds even better on Live & Dangerous. Boogie Woogie Dance is a heavy song with a groove. Phil Collins is listed in the thank you list as having played some percussion, although what and were is unknown. |

a FEW excellent tunes here but hardly a follow-up to "Jailbreak". Still worth a spin. |

Still one of my favorite albums. Great riffs, Lynott in fine form from sneering to crooning, and really holds as an album as opposed to a collection of songs. "Johnny The Fox Meets Jimmy The Weed" can make my neck bounce from a mile away, and "Boogie Woogie Dance" is a force of nature. Still have the vinyl on this one too! |
