After the remarkable The Sign album, a very good solo effort for the mighty voice of Strangeways.

At that folks, is what this is - perfect AOR. The songwriting on Back To Eden is heavenly and second to none as far as melodic rock goes.

the songs are pretty good, but unfortunately the production is below average... poor Terry.

Hey Terry go back to Strangeways, they are lost without you. And your own stuff is not good enough!

First I listened this album, it was hard to get in this. Then I listened some more and started to figure out what the fuss was all about. Great songs in this album.

music career for some artists can be very tricky...well here you have terry brock who released with strangeways two of the most finest aor albums ever released in history then all of a sudden dissappears into thin air...years later he comes with a real bang! and proves to every single one of us that the strangeways phenomenom was not something casual and that he can do it all on his own; and there you have it! one of the finest releases in 2001, an album that has earned the classic status in

sounds way out of time, like at least 10 years ago (and that's a good thing). made to be a classic for the former singer of strangeways and will be! makes me even wish more terry would rejoin strangeways and add his great talent to one of the finest aor bands again. they seem lost without him.

All I can say is that 'Waiting' is one of the most spine chilling and perfect moments in melodic rock history. I love this song and could listen to it forever. The rest of the album is cool too, great voice and great songs... but worth anyone's cash for 'Waiting' alone. 7.7/10

La verdad es que este disco no tiene ni un solo tema malo. Un gran disco y un impresionante cantante, menudo chorro de voz tiene el tío este. Da gusto escuchar voces como ésta!! 9/10

Another of those releases that features real quality in the writing, but is let down by an average production job - if only this had had the bucks behind it. Song wise there is plenty on offer to keep most of us happy, 'I Wanna Love Someone' could have come off any of the aforementioned Strangeways albums and is the strongest track on offer, although the quality of the rest is very high. With a top production, this would deserve the classic status, as it is, this just gets an excellent rating.

Guess it's true, you never know what you've got until it's gone. This is it for me, numero uno. The best, number one. Even more than Out of the Silence, more so than last of the Runaways. The reasons are all personal. My greatest CD. Can it be wrong to lose control?

Super-Recomendado. 9/10

I still stand by my words. This is number one... absolute brilliance. This is when your Nan would buy you Tunes even though you didn't have a cough, a packet of lockets without cold. This is finding the Liverpool badge on a cold winters night in your packet of pannini stickers. 2p Flying saucers and Toffoes, a Stryper bar and a packet of Piglets. The Giddy Game Show and James The Cat never had anything on this..Come with me to the rolling sea and Portland Bill can let it play. Brock is the King!

very good release by TERRY BROCK with great production ,many good songs and much feeling.the only permanent problem with Terry s work is that there is never a feelgood vibe and all the songs are emotional, dark or mellow.i d love to see this direction in the future.highlights here are :"forever now","native sons" and "light of the moon".good release

Finally i got this CD via Ebay and well it cannot be less than a good album with strong cuts but some others half the way IMO and respecting people's opinions in here...my faves are "Audio Life Dream"(an "intro" with a collage of some 80's AOR tunes),"I Wanna Love Somebody","Native Sons","Waiting"(nice),"Forever Now","Another Chance"(nice, catchy)& "We Invented Love"...an album that is recommended but if you compare it with his second album "Diamond Blue" of 2010 it pales a bit(a lot actually)...a matter of tastes i guess...88/100
