If you see any errors or omissions in the CD information shown above, either in the musician credits or song listings (cover song credits, live tracks, etc.), please post them in the corrections section of the Heavy Harmonies forum/message board.

The music discographies on this site are works in progress. If you notice that a particular The Heat CD release or compilation is missing from the list above, please submit that CD using the CD submission page. The ultimate goal is to make the discographies here at Heavy Harmonies as complete as possible. Even if it is an obscure greatest-hits or live compilation CD, we want to add it to the site. Please only submit official CD releases; no bootlegs or cassette-only or LP-only releases.

EPs and CD-singles from The Heat are also welcome to be added, as long as they are at least 4 songs in length.

It's the debut. Mini-lp dated 1994

Fans of Shakra, Pump, Victory and early Gotthard will like this one. Not as good as any of those guys, but a valiant attempt. 'Cold sweat' is a highlight, but these guys do it good and consistent. Check them out. Good solid and beefy hard rock.

me fucking loves this german baby cd. i wished there was an original track instead of that cover. i guess the germans are going crazy for cold sweat, be not! but what i don't know is if this had another cover artwork? i have it with 6 trax only and a completely different artwork, only a huge logo of the band in yellow/orange backround. yet same code LIR 006 what's the issue here? maybe they issued it as a mini cd and then a complete one?

Heavy-edged hard rock that's certainly solid, but falls short of causing a spontaneous pleasure combustion. Reminiscent of early Sinner, but without that band's commercial hooks (actally, if I recall correctly, this CD was actually produced by Mat Sinner). The guitar assault is big & beefy, the sound suitably powerful, but overall this album only deserves to be slotted into the good-but-should-be-better category. They may be called The Heat, but I'm kind of lukewarm about 'em.

Exactly!!!...heavy edged/hard rock is the best way 2 define the sound of this act...very enjoyable album with good songs all over IMO...catchy hooks(for me it has) and choruses backed up by a good vocalist in Mr Algermissen that will be the delight of any listener..."Bad Attitude" & "Teacher For Your Nights" are both hot rocking tracks,"When Love Comes Tough","Runaway","Had Enough"( )& "Who Will Be Crying"(nice) are another interesting songs...88/100
