If you see any errors or omissions in the CD information shown above, either in the musician credits or song listings (cover song credits, live tracks, etc.), please post them in the corrections section of the Heavy Harmonies forum/message board.

The music discographies on this site are works in progress. If you notice that a particular Threshold CD release or compilation is missing from the list above, please submit that CD using the CD submission page. The ultimate goal is to make the discographies here at Heavy Harmonies as complete as possible. Even if it is an obscure greatest-hits or live compilation CD, we want to add it to the site. EPs and CD-singles from Threshold are also welcome to be added, as long as they are at least 4 songs in length.

This one's not growing on me quite as much as the last couple have, truth be told. I do like the fact that they're using more and more keys in their music, but some of the more accessible choruses we saw on "Critical Mass" aren't here. It does sound as awesome as ever, but having been as completely blown away by the new Nightwish album as I was I was expecting big things from this... 7.5/10.

Interesting... This one's actually growing on me much faster than Critical Mass. I think that overall it's their best effort yet, although from a single-song standpoint, I don't think anything will ever eclipse "Ravages of Time"; that one is simply a monster. Threshold is eminently more listenable that any other prog material out there, IMHO. Warm and lush with identifiable choruses that are very melodic, they are a welcome respite from the majority of prog that tends to be dry and self-absorbed. Prog or not, the melodies on this one rule.

A excellent and very consistent release. The songs are not as instant as some previously but when the hooks sink in-oh boy it is worth the wait. If you havn't tasted threshold yet-this, clone, critical mass or hypothetical are all worthy starting blocks and I guarantee when you have one you will want the lot.

Good to see I am not the only listener to these guys.In my humble opinion, these guys are a great talent, and yes I even like them a bit better than the great Dream Theatre. I have all their releases, and there is not a weak one in the bunch. I tend to favor Psychedelicatessen as my all around fav release, again in my humble opinion, not touched by anybody group, any style of music in the 90's as an overall release.

Keep listening to Subsurface and listening... and listening and can't freaking stop! Threshold is definitely one of the best not just prog bands out there!

Another masterpiece from the most consistent prog (metal) band around! This is possibly my fav Threshold release. Glorious harmonies throughout, Mac's vocals shine. The guitar work is sublime (check out Opium). Prog metal, but with consistently great choruses - song structure second to none. Cant recommend this highly enough. Easy 9.5/10.
