I know there are people saying this isn't Krokus so it sucks. They could have released it under another name but they're already on lead singer #4 counting Chris Von Rohr. So what? I listen to it and I like a lot of songs here. The album really grows on you once you get used to Sentance's voice. I would love to hear Brian Johnson sing Break Free. The album has some great guitar work and the drums sound strong. Tracks 2 & 6 are clunkers but the rest is ALMOST Krokus being AC/DC as always. |

This ain't nothing special, but it's better than 98% of the crap they play on the radio these days. Then again, listening to a diarrhetic donkey shit its guts out is better than 98% of the crap they play on the radio these days. Anyway, if you like loud, no-frills hard rock, then "13" may just be your lucky number...as long as you don't mind that this particular incarnation of KROKUS suffers from the curse of banality... |

Carl Sentance is a great singer! His voice sounds a little bit like Bon Scott, and he looks like Bon Scott too a little bit. 'Break Free' is a great tune, 'Guitar Back' too. And so is 'Money Back'. Some great songs on this record, but the production is horrible! And 'Heya' sucks! What a shitty song... |

The best thing CARL SENTANCE did till now is with POWER PROJECT a band with VINNY APPICE, CARLOS CAVAZO and JEFF PILSON and they just released a killer(super super killer)album DINOSAURS. I already have to for some time but nobody is talking about that album. Its pure heavy metal(mix between late 80s BLACK SABBATH, RAINBOW and maybe a little of HAMMERFALL???) with MELODIC HARD ROCK songs too. You all need to look for that album because its going to be the number 1 album of 2006.Listen ones to me |

Forgettable...rivals "Change Of Address" as their worst album. At least that thing had a nice cover of "Schools Out" on it."Heya" pretty much set the tone for me...Why in the f**k they ever chose that horrible tune to lead off this album just boggles the freakin'mind.Fernando's playing i like and "Backstabber" ain't bad but thats about it.Had this for years, rarely if ever listen to it.Those guys on the cover attempting brazillian jiu-jitsu or something ?Don't like the singer at all.Luckily Marc would return for "To Rock Or Not To Be".-- |

Very weak album with a nice cover though...only a couple of songs can be saved from burning "Break Free" & the AC/DC influenced song(when not!)"Whitchhunt"...Carl's voice was not really the addecuate one to substitute Marc and that's probably why this album was a dull one...thanks God the mistake is already solved and Mr Storace is rullin' the house once again!!!.70/100 |
