If you see any errors or omissions in the CD information shown above, either in the musician credits or song listings (cover song credits, live tracks, etc.), please post them in the corrections section of the Heavy Harmonies forum/message board.

The music discographies on this site are works in progress. If you notice that a particular Krokus CD release or compilation is missing from the list above, please submit that CD using the CD submission page. The ultimate goal is to make the discographies here at Heavy Harmonies as complete as possible. Even if it is an obscure greatest-hits or live compilation CD, we want to add it to the site. Please only submit official CD releases; no bootlegs or cassette-only or LP-only releases.

EPs and CD-singles from Krokus are also welcome to be added, as long as they are at least 4 songs in length.

Accused of copying AC/DC with this one there are none the less very strong tunes on this one as well. We wore out the grooves on this many times. Definately one of their 4 great albums.

I own only this record from Krokus, and I must say it's basic AC/DC Hard Rock, although the band were sucessful in copying the AC/DC formula, not a song stands out the most, but it's a good record

From: patiscat Date: January 11, 2003 at 20:56
Chris Von Rohr once said:This is the album AC/DC never made ! That says all. For me you will find more melodies in the choruses and IMO a better singer (sorry Brian). I love this album.

very well put everyone. so let's all say it, THIS BAND ROCKS.WHERE ARE YOUR FISTS. ONE WORD CLASSIC

From: Metal Pete Date: February 23, 2004 at 14:12
A terrific album-if you only own two albums by this band, it must be this one and Headhunter. Very, very good rock music on this disc. Check out 'I'm on the Run', 'Playin the Outlaw'and 'Down the Drain'...every song kicks. Storace's growl and those killer guitars stand the metal test of time.

Best cover of 'American Woman' I've ever heard!

From: Big Mike Date: April 7, 2004 at 16:30
Alot of people like this album but it is way to AC/DC for me. No thanks

From: jack Date: June 8, 2004 at 6:42
Whats the matter with the whole AC/DC thing? THey are a great hard rock band. Every hard rock fan should more or less like their music.

From: Big Mike Date: February 13, 2005 at 12:08
Most AC/DC sounds the same. it's no secret. One vice at a time has the AC/DC sounds but the songs aren't even as good.

This does sound Like AC/DC in places, but without doubt it's great fun and gets the old squash racket going, especially 'Playin' The Outlaw' & 'Long Stick Goes Boom'. Not their best (that honour goes to the brilliant 'Metal Rendez-vous album) but good all the same.

From: Metal T Date: August 20, 2006 at 7:53
"One Vice At Time" still f'n kills ! "Long Stick","Bad Boys Rag Dolls" etc.Ol'Lenny Kravitz would have sold his d*mn soul to have sounded like Krokus did on "American Woman".Id still take Krokus over AC/DC any day of the week.

From: glory77 Date: June 9, 2007 at 19:24
So they sound like AC/DC, that's why I like this album, and that's what makes it a classic! If you like kick ass no nonsense rock & roll, get this record!

From: girapolli Date: June 10, 2007 at 19:32
ooohh what a surprize someone talking about my best european cd ever released ! i offer big $$$ if someone helps me finding the japan cd (if exist hehehe!) 10+/10

From: juan carlos Date: July 3, 2007 at 10:04
Su disco mas a lo AC/DC pero total! He rockeado tantas veces con éste disco que aunque no lo considero un clásico pues esta politicamente correcto, claro, si quieres rockear y te olvidas por un momento de sublimes melodías, sino estas muerto. "American Woman" yeahhhh!! Lenny Kravitz suckss!! Esta versión de Krokus es insuperable. "Playin' the Outlaw" como pega esta temazooo!! Pareciera que escuchar a los AC/DC con el grandioso BON SCOTT R.I.P. AC/DC RULESSSS!!!

From: elljam Date: January 6, 2012 at 8:44
Their best album without a doubt. Sure it's the most AC/DC sounding but how many albums have AC/DC made that are this consistent, especially in the last 20 years. All nine tracks are great but the highlights are "Bad boys rag dolls" & "Playin' the outlaw".

From: Doug Date: January 6, 2012 at 18:19
Agree with 'ya "elljam," this one is great!

From: Doghouse Reilly Date: January 7, 2012 at 0:07
I like this one too; who can resist "Long Stick Goes Boom?" I may be nitpicking though, but Elljam's comment, "So what has AC/DC done in 20 years?" doesn't really apply here, since this album, like AC/DC's best work, is also thirty years old.

From: Reverend Mayhem Date: July 2, 2014 at 16:20
The best album AC/DC never recorded.

From: rick kerch vzla Date: February 26, 2017 at 18:16
