Accused of copying AC/DC with this one there are none the less very strong tunes on this one as well. We wore out the grooves on this many times. Definately one of their 4 great albums.

I own only this record from Krokus, and I must say it's basic AC/DC Hard Rock, although the band were sucessful in copying the AC/DC formula, not a song stands out the most, but it's a good record

Chris Von Rohr once said:This is the album AC/DC never made ! That says all. For me you will find more melodies in the choruses and IMO a better singer (sorry Brian). I love this album.

A terrific album-if you only own two albums by this band, it must be this one and Headhunter. Very, very good rock music on this disc. Check out 'I'm on the Run', 'Playin the Outlaw'and 'Down the Drain'...every song kicks. Storace's growl and those killer guitars stand the metal test of time.

Most AC/DC sounds the same. it's no secret. One vice at a time has the AC/DC sounds but the songs aren't even as good.

This does sound Like AC/DC in places, but without doubt it's great fun and gets the old squash racket going, especially 'Playin' The Outlaw' & 'Long Stick Goes Boom'. Not their best (that honour goes to the brilliant 'Metal Rendez-vous album) but good all the same.

"One Vice At Time" still f'n kills ! "Long Stick","Bad Boys Rag Dolls" etc.Ol'Lenny Kravitz would have sold his d*mn soul to have sounded like Krokus did on "American Woman".Id still take Krokus over AC/DC any day of the week.

So they sound like AC/DC, that's why I like this album, and that's what makes it a classic! If you like kick ass no nonsense rock & roll, get this record!

Su disco mas a lo AC/DC pero total! He rockeado tantas veces con éste disco que aunque no lo considero un clásico pues esta politicamente correcto, claro, si quieres rockear y te olvidas por un momento de sublimes melodías, sino estas muerto. "American Woman" yeahhhh!! Lenny Kravitz suckss!! Esta versión de Krokus es insuperable. "Playin' the Outlaw" como pega esta temazooo!! Pareciera que escuchar a los AC/DC con el grandioso BON SCOTT R.I.P. AC/DC RULESSSS!!!

Their best album without a doubt. Sure it's the most AC/DC sounding but how many albums have AC/DC made that are this consistent, especially in the last 20 years. All nine tracks are great but the highlights are "Bad boys rag dolls" & "Playin' the outlaw".

Agree with 'ya "elljam," this one is great!

I like this one too; who can resist "Long Stick Goes Boom?" I may be nitpicking though, but Elljam's comment, "So what has AC/DC done in 20 years?" doesn't really apply here, since this album, like AC/DC's best work, is also thirty years old.

excellent release once again for KROKUS putting their mark in the early 80 s scene with their raw hard rocking sound that reminds of AC DC and SCORPIONS !no fillers, all the songs are remarkable and somehow One Vice At A Time is a classic
