2nd release from this Brit Melodic rock band. Slightly rockier than the excellent debut. Some very good songs on this especially the opener Call to Prayer and Blinded. If you liked the debut, then you will have no problems with this one either. Recommended

From: selfish@tlen.pl Date: April 22, 2003 at 20:22
MAAAN, this one is even better, even better then dbut album. When i heard for the first time , i was like ' omg, this album rocks'', and i still think that way.''blinded'' and ''you can't hide'', thats my fav. songs. This band has it all, from very , very catchy key sounds, to gread vocal job and guitar hooks. Worth every price...

From: Rycheage Date: July 1, 2003 at 21:31
Change Of Heart don't pretend to be anything they are not. This is prime mid 80's style commercial AOR with an equal mix of keyboards and guitars. True there are other bands out there doing this very same thing, but these guys have however recorded some more memorable and catchy songs.

From: Scandi Date: October 4, 2003 at 16:35
Again me.. This band is surely not bad in any way, but it lacks the variety of bands such as SKAGARACK, BAD HABIT and sometimes FM (from UK). If you're a fan of STRANGEWAYS or DARE (also FM, as said) give it a try ! However I like more the rockier Melodic Rock songs from Sweden/Norway/Denmark/Germany than this AOR style from Great Britain/ USA..

Buensimos. Canciones de calidad y msicos de calidad. Buenas melodias y estribillos muy bien construidos. Very good Cd in terms of songwriting and melody.

DAN could U clearify that english is prefered here.????? This is a cmment I stumbled over. Buensimos. Canciones de calidad y msicos de calidad. Buenas melodias y estribillos muy bien construidos. Very good Cd in terms of songwriting and melody. ................What the F"% doest that mean....??

From: James Date: November 29, 2003 at 19:21
hey Dane, chill. not everyone can write in english. I don't understand other languages but i don't let it bother me. The people who don't speak or can write in english have as much right to the board in their language as anyone else. don't let it bother you and just enjoy the board

Change of Heart have matured into a first rate rock band that will place them in the premier slot in the UK. This second album should see them escalate to great heights and establish them as a leader in British melodic hard rock.

From: Jordiet jejet Date: December 17, 2003 at 7:13
Great Dane, que et follin, capullo! Do you know? Learn spanish that is the second language in the world. Do you know?

From: GlenRavine Date: January 24, 2004 at 19:22
Very good - not as good as the debut - but damn good - if you enjoyed their debut - you'll love this also - what a shame - I wish they would release something else. Too bad they faded away.

From: peter poland Date: February 16, 2004 at 17:11
I'm a big fan of 80's, i'm sure that it was the only time when music has it's soul and heart, so i'm a little bit sceptic about nova days releases. But thank God some band, break my rules. This Change of heart album is better then the dubut. It's also a little bit harder then typical AOR, but keyboards are everywhere, and everything is smooth as hell HIGHLY RECOMMENDED

From: Rick G Date: February 24, 2004 at 7:03
THIS IS FOR GREAT DANE!!!!! jesus man is that all you do is complain?I see your comments all over the place and it is always your whinning..STFU-Put a sock in it,and get a life!!!! and yes this band is very good! two thumbs up!

From: TIM (2) Date: August 25, 2004 at 6:17
This one is rockier than their first, but it's still softer than Mike Tyson is now. Vaguely reminiscent of F.M and Heartland and has that 'Brit band trying to sound American' feel to it, but they have the songs. More so on the first album, and mainly early in the running order here, but for fans starved of their pure AOR over the past few years this one is worth picking up. 7.5/10.

From: Geoff Date: August 25, 2004 at 6:35
This is a band I was hoping would release another CD. I prefer the debut mostly due to the outstanding 'Don't walk away', but this is a very solid collection of melodic rock. Very good sound and a very solid band. I like this CD a lot!

From: Wotty Date: August 25, 2004 at 6:51
QUALITY......

"When love gets in the way" is one of the best power ballads ever.

Good Call....

From: Roxas Date: October 24, 2004 at 23:23
Even better than the debut - utterly tremendous. Emotional to the core. Fantastic british Melodic Rock. When love gets in the way is one of the greatest ballads ever penned. What a fucking album!

From: Sergio Date: November 22, 2004 at 18:38

From: Aires Sil Date: December 9, 2004 at 3:43
I Don't Want to Be Lonely ; Hands on My Heart - amazing tracks ! All in all, a very good CD 8.5/10.

From: z4roxx Date: February 25, 2005 at 18:47
Is this one of the best hard rock/aor bands in England??I think yes,but not only in England!Awesome tracks, stunning production, great musicianships and vox, too.Imagine a mix of Dare(first 2),Terra Nova and the identical songwriting of Heartland of"Bridge of fools"but the difference is that Heartland in that release are very weak and songs are almost all forgattable,in Change of Heart almost all the songs are killers!!That's top melodick rock!!10/10!!

From: z4roxx Date: February 25, 2005 at 19:29
Guys,it was many time I wanted sayin'this thinglease take the riff of"Run from the storm",maybe there are 150.000 bands who used the same riff changin'words and arrangements, incredible!ahaha!!It's the catchiest riff and it's very easy doin'a tune that blow you away indeed!!What a global plague!ahaha!!I could mentione the same riff in Korea,Razormaid,Falcon Scream and other 10,000 bands I don't remember now ahahahaha!

From: Rafo Phoenix Date: March 16, 2005 at 20:06

Was just listening to this again last night, and still think the album is great... 'Blinded' being an awesome song, but further to my first comment, I must say that 'You can't hide' is almost as good as 'Don't walk away'. What a stunning song this 'You can't hide' is. Blew me away last night as I listened to the disc. Awesome vocals too. Great stuff... can't wait for the next one!

From: Melodiker Date: August 1, 2006 at 19:15
i think this one is a little better, than the debut. But i hope, that the band searches a better vocalist.... 8,5 points for the music

From: lalorock Date: September 12, 2006 at 22:49
Excelente disco de Change of Heart, aor de primera, canciones muy al estilo britnico, es decir melodas y guitarras afiladas, me recuerda por momentos a Pride por su estilo, los temas son todos muy buenos, grandes coros, teclados bien puestos, temas a destacar Blinded,I dont want to be lonely temazo, when love gets in the way baladasa, hands on my heart otra maravillosa cancin con unas guitarras acsticas excelentes, gran disco 9/10

From: Carlos A. Date: December 11, 2006 at 18:16
"Blinded",(V.W. en notas hard rock),"Don't Want to Be Lonely","Take Me for a Ride","When Love Gets in the Way" temas que sonaran en tu mente una y otra vez Buen disco.

ESTA BANDA DESDE QUE LA DESCUBRI, ME IMPACTO.ESTE CONTINUUM QUE FUE CON EL QUE LOS DESCUBRI.ABRE QUIZA CON LA MAS EN PLANO HARD MELODICO CALL TO A PRAYER, BLINDED MAS EN UN HARD-AOR,PERO AQUI EL DISCO SE VUELCA EN AL AOR MAS ESPLENDOROSO I DONT WANT TO BE LONELY ES EXQUISITA, DE ESE AOR PEGAJOSO.LA EXCELSA WHEN LOVE GETS IN THE WAY,YOU CAN'T HIDE Y CALL ON THE WILD MANTIENEN ESE AOR DE NIVEL,HANDS ON MY HEART BUENISIMA, PERO SAY THAT YOU WANT ME ES LA QUE SE LLEVA EL CD, ESE PRINCIPIO..

From: coverdale14 Date: October 31, 2007 at 14:04
ME HACE RECORDAR EN EL RIFF A MIS COMPATRIOTAS LOS "CODA" LA MEJOR BANDA DE HARD-AOR EN MEXICO, ACASO HAY ALGUNA MAS? EN FIN LARGA VIDA A LOS CHANGE OF HEART Y A ESE TRIO INSEPARABLE CLARK-FOOTIT-CHAPMAN. 10/10.

From: KurtmanJP Date: April 12, 2008 at 21:48
"Take Me For A Ride". Geez. That track just blows me away! Very early Jeff Paris style song. Mostly this album reminds me of Stun Leer. "Blinded" "I Don't Want To Be Lonely" "You Can't Hide" and "Mysteries" are also killer melodic rock tracks.

From: Harald Date: September 14, 2008 at 2:44
I have just rediscovered the second COH album and what a killer CD it is. "Blinded", "When Love Gets In The Way" (is one of the greatest ballads ever penned!!!), "Call of the Wild","Take Me for a Ride" and my favorite song "Run From The Storm" are all massive melodic rockers, the other songs are excellent too. Great album. 10/10

From: rick kerch vzla Date: February 8, 2012 at 21:45
A bit rockier than the band's enormous debut but keeping it with the quaility needed to satisfy the listeners who fell in love with the blasting aforementioned one...the best shot for me is the one that closes the release "Mysteries" wich is a nice song but is followed by some other mighty moments in the shape of "I Don't Want To Be Lonely","You Can't Hide","Call Of The Wild" & "Say That You Want Me"...recommended...90/100

From: hair metal again Date: November 20, 2012 at 8:09
excellent release by CHANGE OF HEART and a nice surprise for me!no fillers inside and all the songs are catchy and i must say i really loved the vocals!i d say that their sound is a mixture of FM and DARE of the Blood era!highlights are "blinded","when love gets in the way","i dont want to be lonely" and "love on the line"!essential release!
