If huge choruses & monster backing vocals drive you giddy, you'll want to get this CD at all costs. This album can make a legitimate claim to having the biggest backing vocal sound in the history of hard rock; it sounds like there are at least 30 people belting out the choruses! Also enjoyable are the oh-so-catchy hooks which sink into your eardrums and dig into your head almost instantly. Bottom line, this one is very good, as refreshing as an oasis to a man lost in the desert. |

M.Allen, what does this band sound like and where can i listen to it? |
From: M. Allen | Date: January 1, 2004 at 15:02 |
Crusher, this band could be compared to a large number of other groups, including Warrant, XYZ, and France, to name just a few. Not sure if there's anywhere you can listen to it, though. |

great sound, great guitars, great songs - press it again! The future of rock and roll!!! |

Wanna know what this sounds like? If Mike Tramp of White Lion was the lead vocalist for Vice (Second Excess) or MSG (Save Yourself), this is what you'd get. This may not get the Blue Tears Award for the biggest backing vocals of all-time, but it's definitely up there. Anyone who likes Bonfire (Fireworks) will also be hard pressed to keep their pants zipped up and their tongues dry. I don't hear Warrant or XYZ at work here, unless you're comparing them on the basis of production values. |

Hard Rock/AOR...a good release for those who like it soft yet melodic and rocking at the same time...my fave tracks are "Out In The Rain","You're So Tough"(a catchy rocking one)"Baby Come Back" but if a have 2 select the real "goodies" i'd go with "Trace" & "Lay Down,Stay Down" that are probably the most attractive cuts of the album...enjoyable...87/100 |

Well after my pimps in the forums dropped me a list in response to a post I posted, being to drop me a list of the most overproduced discs they could possibly think of, they all immediately went to work, I have to say, out of probably 100 I hadnt heard, and 10 to 15 I couldnt find anywhere on the entire net to actually hear a sample of the band, I ended up with about 4 or 5 discs that I had to find on trust and faith, this is one of them, and of course those 5 discs had something else tied to them that was relevant to not being able to find anywhere to hear them, that is the fact that I more then likely would also not be able to find anywhere to buy them, I have been looking for this now for a little over a year, and finally found one for only $60, pretty fucked up for something im ordering blindly, I was only pissed off for a second, learning that my expectations of hearing another Blue Tears has had to go away, there will never be another BT, so needless to say, I didnt like this the |

1st listen through, as ive discovered I have not liked hardly any of them on the 1st spin, because I am expecting to hear Blue Tears, then after I went back to it today(got it yesterday)I had an open mind, despite the fact I do believe the lead track is weak as fuck, track 2 more then brings in what I am looking for in overproduction, this is a different kind of production job though, if your like me and get this on the recommendation that it is overproduced, it really is not, yes it utilizes a nauseating amount of tracks for BGV, that is different then being full blown over produced, which I was expecting, the music on this is not even remotely overproduced, but tons and tons of bgv, Love Between The Bites, is a solid slice of melodic rock bliss, and to elevate the album over the many many similar albums in existence, that would be Your So Tough, by far the standout track, fairly decent album, get it if you can, I am not upset I spent $60, It is not a let down, its a good band! |
