| It's been well over 6 years since the last CT studio release which is way too long in my books. So, is the new release any good? i hear you ask. My reply would be a big thumbs up and would go as far as saying this is as good an album as they have recorded in the last 20 years (and there have been some good one's) In Places Robin Zander has never sounded better, and the band sound as tight as they ever were.No low points at all and if you get it early you'll get a bonus DVD aswell. Nuff said.

| Very well produced piece of hard pop. Robin Zander is a vocal rock god. Highlights are 'Scent Of A Woman', 'Special One', 'Sorry Boy' and the mega-fun 'Low Life In High Heels'. Rick Nielsen couldn't write a bad song if he tried.

| 'Special One'????....... Maybe they should have called this album 'Another Shitty One.' How many record labels has this band been on? Nobody wants them, but they keep making records. (?) How does that one song go?... You know! The only song that anyone ever listened to. Umm, I think it went like this.... "I did not, did not, did not see you crying." Any-hoo, I saw these guys live, they put me to sleep. Although, it looked to me that the singer was sleeping on stage as well. BORRRRRRIIIINNNNGGG!!

| Massive Cheap Trick fan that I am, I can't quite see what they were getting at with this one. The album before it (Cheap Trick) absolutely blasts out of the stereo: this one sort of squeaks out. Scent of a Woman is the strangest choice I've ever heard for an opening track and it wouldn't even have made the tracklistings of In Color or Dream Police. It's not all bad though....My Obsession is a pop metal classic. Less of a Special One and more of an OK One!

| After the bombastic "Scent Of A Woman" the CD kind of falls off the pace. A more laid back and wiser Cheap Trick takes place. After the long layoff, the CD is kind of a disappointment in places. It will, however, appeal to hardcore Cheap Trick fans.

| These guys just keep producing the goods!! Listen to "Best Friend" where Zander does a better job of doing Steve Tyler than Tyler himself. What's great about this disc is Zander is one of the few vocalists from this era who is actually getting BETTER with age! Bands like this who don't rest on their laurels should be supported by rock fans to give a kick in the ass to some of the laziness musical productions that have come from similar groups from these guys era(Kiss,VH,Aerosmith).

| Never cared much for bubble gum rock and was hoping these guys would grow, but a more disappointing then all the rest.

| I always enjoyed Cheap and I always saw a great live show whenever they played but this one unfortunately isn't that good. Not typical CT. I wondered if they wanted to do their Sgt.Pepper. Just didn't do anything to me. It's the material. It's as if they had to grow up and sound more mature ? Ct should stick with what they do best. It doesn't have memorable CT moments.
