Easily my favourite Cheap Trick album ever. |

It's been ages since I heard this album, but "Can't Stop Fallin' in Love" is the only track that stands out. A good example of older rock bands taking part in the explosion of 80s/90s melodic rock...the talent was certainly there in a classic band like Cheap Trick so it stands to reason bands like this would do very well with "playing down" to the masses. Not quite as good as the LAP OF LUXURY album but worth a couple of bucks for sure. |

This one is even more commercial than the last album. But where the last album still had plenty of good songs, this one is back to the form of hits and misses. When it hits ("Had To Make You Mine" and "Can't Stop Fallin In Love") it is as good as any of their post 1980 material. When it misses ("If Yu Need Me" and "Wherever Would I Be"), it is among their worst. 5/10 |

Good stuff, but another release that absolutely bombed big time, which was a real shame as there is some excellent material on this, especially 'Walk Away' (with the great Chrissie Hynde) 'Wherever Would I Be' and the mighty 'I Can't Understand It'. Not their best by a long way but, a goodie none the less. |

Definitely one of my favorite latter day Cheap Trick discs. Probably shouldn't have released "Can't Stop..." as the first single as it gave the false impression these guys were getting soft & old. That being said I LOVE this disc. Every song but "Can't Stop.." is just classic and one of those great albums that you don't have to use the skip button. Zander's voice on the ballads is awesome and "Rock N' Roll Tonight" harkens back to their earlier bar band rock roots. |

To me this disc sounds like Enuff Z'Nuff in places. This is the only Cheap Trick disc I own, and will ever own. It's harmless commercial rock. 'Black n'blue', 'I can't understand it' and 'Busted' are nice pop rockers, 'Wherever would I be' is almost as good as 'The flame' (almost!) and is an album highlight, as is the brilliant 'When you need someone'. Good rock n'roll album, awesome ballads. |

A REALLY GOOD album (songs and production). If you like AOR, this is for you. |

excellent release by CHEAP TRICK once again in their own unique style!this band is always commercial, hard rockin, radio friendly, with a sound and approach that seems classic but updated at the same time!the songwriting is of the highest level with songs like "wherever would i be","if you need me","cant stop fallin into love" and "when you need someone"!superb band indeed |
