When i heard one track, i wanted to all. When i heard all , the hunger is gone. Very typical for yearly 80s , trying to be like Survivor band. 5/10 |

Well, it WAS the early eighties but these guys were much heavier than survivor. Yeah ... eighties but good! |

Survivor????Survivor never did, never could sound like these guys.Open your ears Peter.I remember this band,as a matter of fact I saw them many times in Calgary and Vanvouver. They were much heavier live. This EP is good, but live,Sharp Edges lived up to their name. They rocked HARD. Saw them open for Loverboy once in Calgary. They never opened for Loverboy again...wonder why??? If they ever got together again,I'd go see them.I could only imagine what they'd sound like with todays equipment.Look out! |

This cd is simply great.Fantastic production, the best kind of 80's AOR IMO.The singer has also a very good and particular way of singing.Every song is catchy and original. One of my faves in the 80'a indeed. The Survivor comparison is not so right but it's difficult to find similarities with other bands even if it's not so hard but I would hold Sharpe Edges as an unique band in their genre.9.5/10! |

pretty good ep for SHARP EDGES from Canada that did no more after that one !their sound is typical of the early 80 s that reminds me of bands like LOVERBOY,THE OUTFIELD or RICK SPRINGFIELD!i guess that if you like something of these you ll be satisfied with that one as well |
