Kyrie and Broken Wings are amazing AOR masterpieces.

From: Fog-hat Date: November 14, 2002 at 9:33
Not sure why this CD is on "HEAVY" Harmonies? Anyway, this is a good solid Pop Rock album. Not a bad song on it. My favorites are "Uniform of youth", "Don't slow down" and "Kyrie".

From: freddy de keyze Date: November 25, 2002 at 3:31
Good CD, but very soft. Guys, this is soft AOR, not Van Stephenson and co !!! But worth a listen, because the songs are good.

From: MALLORCA´S ROCK Date: November 25, 2002 at 4:33
puajjj!!!

From: Gabi Date: December 23, 2002 at 13:37

From: vince Date: April 19, 2003 at 23:20
does anyone now which 80's bands have the same flavour as the song IS IT LOVE ???

From: TIM Date: April 20, 2003 at 4:43
I'll try to listen to it again and give my opinion. In case I forget, email me at rio1harris@aol.com and remind me.

Vince: one band you might like with a similar style to Mr. Mister is THE STABILIZERS who released only one album, "Tyranny" (Epic, 1986). The track "One Simple Thing" is very much along the lines of Mr. Mister's "Welcome to the Real World". Other bands you should check out include FARRENHEIT (self-titled debut from '87), PLANET 3 (featuring Jay Graydon from 1990) or BEAU COUP "Born & Raised on Rock n' Roll". All 4 bands play that tight studio-style AOR.

No disrespect to Heavy Harmonies but,....What in the hell is Mr.Mr. doing on here.I like alot of 80's pop music but these guys don't belong!!1Kyrie is an awesome reflective pop tune though!

From: AOR freaky Date: January 26, 2004 at 7:56
Ric, this is soft AOR, but good ! They really have their place here ! If Butch Walker and other alternative stuff is tolerated here, why not this, far better music ? !

From: Headbanger72 Date: January 31, 2004 at 18:47
Best non-heavy metal album of the 1980's. It's still good 19 years later.

From: Vancouver Date: February 14, 2004 at 1:17
I found it strange for this disc to be here. I will never sell my CD though, that's for sure. Gonna go with fog-hat. I also enjoyed "Black/White" and "Run To Her".

From: Rafo Phoenix Date: September 11, 2004 at 3:58
NO HABLEN MAL DE ESTE GRUPO, UNO DE LOS MEJORES DEL POP/ROCK DE LOS 80, CON TOQUES DE AOR POR SUPUESTO. UN EXCELENTE GRUPO, DENTRO DEL POP/ROCK DE LOS 80 ES DE MIS FAVORITOS.

From: Eugenio Chahin Date: January 5, 2005 at 1:18
Black-White, Tangent Tears, Don't Slow Down, Uniform Of Youth and all the album, back 2 back, haves an awsome magical 80s feel. A pop masterpice!

From: toni Date: January 12, 2005 at 12:42
QUE MAS DA, SI ES UN GRUPO DE POP,AOR O LO QUE SEA, LA BALADA BROKEN WINGS ES UNA DE LAS MEJORES DE TODOS LOS TIEMPOS Y ES UN CLASICAZO DE LOS 80´S!!!!!!!!!!!

From: carlos ciges Date: January 13, 2005 at 15:59
PERO QUE PASA?ESTE ALBUM TENDRIA QUE TENER MAS COMENTARIOS POSITIVOS,PUES ENCIERRA AUTENTICAS JOYAS QUE TENDRIAIS QUE ESCUCHAR DETENIDAMENTE,MUY BUEN GRUPO.ALA, HAY QUEDA ESO....

From: juan carlos Date: January 17, 2005 at 17:50

Brilliant, Hi-Tech AOR. Love every track on this cd equally, which is quite a rare thing for me. Love Richard Page's Vocal work on this aswell - one of the underated vocalists in the AOR/Westcoast field without doubt. An album definately worth more than the hits it produced in 'Broken Wings' & 'Kyrie'.

From: TIM Date: March 17, 2005 at 9:13
Wasn't claiming the rest was disposable there Jez. I just favor those.

Great songs TIM. If i had to choose one it would be 'Uniform Of Youth' I think, followed closely by 'Broken Wings'- Richard Page sounds amazing on this one.!!!

From: AOR freaky Date: March 17, 2005 at 12:16
Good CD, indeed ! But why is everyone here attacking Agent, while this is waaaaaaaaaay softer ? !

From: tomcat Date: March 18, 2005 at 0:50
This is a very good cd...and i know that this band is known for 'broken wings'but the rest is pretty good too...Anyhow, about "broken wings", it ain't music...it's pure m a g i c

From: Rockhead Date: March 18, 2005 at 4:05
This Cd has that expensive 80's BIG production which makes it sound like a million dollars. Unlike some of th poorer recorded indie releases. Had some of those had this amount of cash chucked at it who knows-Great songs, great vocals, stellar production = classic AOR album

From: Rafo Phoenix Date: May 18, 2005 at 0:10
Great Lite/AOR 9/10.

From: JF Date: May 18, 2005 at 21:43
Otras que destacan son Is It Love y run to her.

From: Rafo Phoenix Date: June 7, 2005 at 11:01

From: Rafo Phoenix Date: June 7, 2005 at 11:02

From: Rafo Phoenix Date: June 7, 2005 at 11:03

From: Rafo Phoenix Date: June 7, 2005 at 11:04
cortes como este) y Broken Wings(las mas famosas y mas orientadas al AOR y que la gran mayoria ama) ahora Into my own Hands(el 3 corte con esa atmosfera), Tangent tears, Welcome to the real world, Black/White son 4 cortes mas de gran nivel muy buenos, Is it love y Run to her son los mas bajos desde mi punto pero tambien estan ok. asi que si no tienen esta Joya no se que esperan. saludos a todos los amantes del buen Rock de su amigo Rafo el Ave Fenix.

From: swriter Date: July 25, 2005 at 19:32

I had a dream!! i rememeber to be going to by car of the montains of Nevada State, I heard!"KIRIE - KIRIE" - seems funny, but it is not this music was in my head, I got to think that Mr.Mister it was CCM, really this changed my life,I began to love this! I don't understand, because they didn't leave a larger trace!! SIMPLY WONDERFUL!10/10

From: Lovedrive Date: August 4, 2006 at 10:27
En una palabra: KYRIE!!

From: YIRO SEVENTH Date: June 27, 2007 at 20:19

From: YIRO SEVENTH Date: June 27, 2007 at 20:25
siendo intrascendentes.

From: MetalllianStallion Date: February 16, 2010 at 1:04
To set the mood before I listen to this one, I light candles while taking a scented steaming hot bath to hide my 'tangent tears'. Who want's to hand me the Loofah? A couple borderline soft AOR tunes on this one but overall along with this bands greatest hits releases make this a AC/pop group that no AOR/rock radio station would touch in the 80's. File this one under 'why is this band here',along with Cher,Shania Twain and soon to be submitted: WHAM - the mens room years.

From: BDrums1971 Date: August 14, 2010 at 0:06
This is one of those "perfect" cd's. You just wouldn't change a thing, it's so good. One of the best cd's I own. By the way, to anyone who loves this cd, I have found two others that sound very similar to this. Chris Eaton - Vision (a christian act, but very very good) and Kevin Raleigh - Delusions Of Grandeur. Both excellent cd's that sound very similar to Welcome To The Real World.

From: DonDefo Date: December 23, 2010 at 7:55
KYRIE!!

From: Doug Date: June 10, 2014 at 19:39
Two great songs; the rest are sorry to say below average.

From: dany69 Date: August 1, 2016 at 19:16
ok i'm agree with some peoples why this on here, but,,,,this is Radio pop aor radio Right,,,but Kyrie,,Broken Wings play again today on radio,,and this 2 songs are masterpieces,,tell me how many radio bands got this kind of quality songs those days,??????? NOT,,,,so Mr Mister deserve to be here,,,the 80s musics was so much better ,,,,

From: SgtRock Date: May 22, 2023 at 7:15
Great album and one I neglected for decades because of Kyrie and Broken Wings being played to death on UK radio. Real shame really since its fantastic Hi-Tech aor and one of the best examples of the genre.
