Excellent AOR on Majestic Records ! You should check this one out if you love pure AOR !

Superb, great, excellent! But what else would you expect from Mr. Ponti & Co.? Though the quality leaves a bit to be desired, don't forget that these are just demo recordings. Nevertheless they rule, especially Lightning Never Strikes. A forgotten jewel in the world of rock...

Like this one! Sounds very poor He is one of my fave 'hitmakers' there are a lot of songs were released on later albums, like Crossfire (as Caught up in the crossfire) on the 1st Babylon A.D.; Waiting in the shadows (as somebody's waiting) and Don't say you love me on Keel from 1987. Heart of the fire performed later by Soto on 'Rich Girl' OSTin 1990; Somebody's Falling rerecorded by Shark Island in 1989. that's all for the first listening.

You Love Me, Heart of the Fire, Other Side of Midnight, Secrets of the Heart, Somebody's Falling, Under Gypsy Moon... ...

can't stop listening to "lightning never strikes". "don;t say you love me","no loking back"are really great too,and some others decent songs(and 2 i really dislike)here.very unjustice for this band...

The final chapter,shamely...this one hasn't got as many good songs as the Tokyo Rose one IMO..."Lightning Never Strikes","Dancing Your Life Away"(catchy),"Don't Say You Love Me","No Looking Back" & "Other Side Of Midnight"( ) are the ones that caught my attention from here...a band that died without the recognition they deserved ...80/100

fantastic demo collection by SURGIN that shows how underrated this band is!the songwriting and the hooks is their strongest part with sensational choruses !the sound is poor but i can easily read behind the line after 3 decades into that genre called HARD ROCK!many of these songs later became popular ,but SURGIN is the star here!brilliance
