| 3rd album by the Canadians, and not a million miles away from the Heart sound of the similar era .This reissue also includes the 'original' version of 'What About Love', from the Heart '85 CD. I bet they were kicking themselves for giving that one away. Great cd .Lots of other great tracks on this Break down the Baricades,Start telling the truth and the very Bryan Adams sounding Ya Love Ta Love.

| This band had an unusuall monicker,because none of the band-members originaly came from Canada.The music on this record is a blend of superb early 80`s contemporary rock/aor in the vein of late,more commercial Jefferson Starship!Good female vocals,on the same timber of other singers from the same era,like:Mikey Thomas,Franke Previte,Bobby Kimball etc.....78 out of 10!Strong runner-up to become an AOR classic!

| I found this one a bit different from the others. I think it was the producer, Steve Smith. They said in the credits he wasn't always in the studio when they were recording and described as a laid back Texan. I'm happy they put "What About Love" on this one. A big hit for Toronto, only made big by another band - HEART!

| The albums high point has to be the title track where they up the tempo. The frenetic riffing from guitarists Brian Allen and Sheron Alton, together with Holly's slightly demented vocals and quirky theme make them sound similar to the legendary Storm (not the Journey sound-alikes). The album eases back into the mainstream with 'Sick And Tired'. More solid riffing, and unforgettable melodies ensue on 'Ya Love To Love' and 'Run For Your Life'. High quality stuff.

| I think this is probably my favourite of the Toronto albums...when I bought it at HMV in Manchester I was torn between buying this and another album .. I was about £2 short so I blew my bus fare and bought both and ended up walking the 8 miles home!!! Well worth it though. Great pop rock and the fantastic title track is one of the best things the band ever did!!

| Another great album by a very much underrated band. This takes me back to my youth when I was just leaving school. Some great songs on this one.

More or less in the same line as "Head On"...good songs such as "Breaking Down The Barriers","Your Daddy Don't Know"(catchy),"You're A Mystery To Me","Sick And Tired" & "Why Can't We Talk"(  ) are songs that will hook you up surely...i own this on vinyl so i dunno about the bonus tracks...83/100

By the way Gary Lalonde who played the bass on this album a couple of years after became the bass player of the death metal band Possessed  ...

Gary Lalonde NEVER was a possessed's member! Larry Lalonde was! Gary Lalonde was later in Honeymoon Suite.
