I just got my Show-Ya Glamour cd in from Japan that I purchased from ebay. Some really good examples of 80's lead guitar riffs, which I thoroughly enjoy listening to. Many of the tracks I've heard live on the Tokyo Live Tour. Studio verisons are clear but the live tracks are in my opinion better listening for the added vocals and extended live versions. Bottom line: An outstanding example of 80's metal/rock, listening to this album brought back names and sounds such as Heart and Bon Jovi. |

Their best album so far. I Gotta Your Love and We'll Still... are my faves, the Japanese version of this song is also nice to listen to. |

JarWi, again I totally agree with you! "I Gotta Your Love" must have blown the original fans away when they first heard that. "We'll Still Be Hangin' On" is actually an old Journey reject from the "Raised On Radio" sessions. Keiko's delivery really makes the song sound much more emotional then what the original demo did, and the ballads "Go Again" (Track 10) and "Dakareta Mama" (Track 5) are awesome, they stick in your head and stay there. "Yoru No Sei Ja Nai" (Track 9) is another great track. This is my favourite Show-Ya album and is essential in any rocker's collection. I can't give it anything less then 100/100 |
