Like a cross between Skid Row, Julliet, and Danger Danger.

One of the best melodic hard rock indies of all time. So many mega-rare CDs fail to deliver the goods, (Rock Boulevard, anyone?) but HEARTLESS doesn't fall prey to that particular malady. From start to finish, this is awesome melodic hard rock for fans of greag guitars, catchy hooks, powerhouse choruses, and big backing vocals. The songs 'Fits Live a Glove' & 'Messin' Around' will stick in your head like taffy in your teeth. Bottom line, HEARTLESS is nearly flawless.

This CD totally rocks 10/10! It's worth every penny I paid for it (Quite a few pennies... hehehe). Rock Boulevard, anyone? Well I'm someone, and I liked their s/t CD, and I would recommend it to anyone 9/10. Yes it has a song or two that were only OK but the rest by far make up for it! Just ask my good friend PJ at www.kissmydisc.com (GREAT website, tons of rare CDs) he will let you know how great the Rock Blvd. CD is, in fact he'll probably track one down for ya, he's good at that. By the way METAL 4 EVER, I bought my copy of Heartless from him. Saw it on Collector's Corner and couldn't pass it up. This band is pretty good but I don't like them as much as Emergency- Boys Will Be Boys.

I got my copy of Emergency - Boys Will Be Boys from PJ, it's a really good CD, but I am a bigger fan of the Heartless CD. I have some CDs I would like to recommend to you (and can't list them all), and I know you have some stuff I would like to know about. Here is my e-mail address shandaren@juno.com we will have to chat about the rare Metal bands. Metal 4 Ever

You can get the Julliet CD 'Passion' thru Metalmayhem.com right now and KENNY MCGEE’S – Heartless Daze Vol. 1 & 2: Kenny has kept these killer recordings hidden in a closet for many years, but that is about to change, as they will be released in 2003...Rock on!!

Great CD. These guys were better as an indie band than as Julliet. Get it, if you can find it.

I found this on ebay about 2 years ago, some guy was selling it for $8 buy it now! needless to say I did, and I love it. one of the best cd's I have ever heard. Flawless!

From: Jimbo |

Although I can appreciate your enthusiasm MButt, the only track I like on this one is 'Messin' Around'. Good musicians, decent songs, but something's missing. Maybe the arrangements are a little too straightforward or maybe the hooks don't quite hook enough, but this one was a little disappointing.

From: TheRipper |
Date: March 23, 2003 at 20:17 |
Maybe youre right Jimbo; at times this CD/band sound can remind me of KK Wilde (at least in their straight ahead rock style), BUT I still think it's well executed (in fact I think both are great, Heartless and KK) and still enjoy 'em when I pull them out. I must say that I could see how KK could take a certain patience because for some time I didn't like it then it really grew on me. Both are Recommended to HR/Glam fans who enjoy say a Shark Island style of things, who are also great in my book.

Sorry, K.K. Wilde is extremely boring. Heartless is just average in my book. 'Fits Like A Glove' is about the only one I tolerate. It has all the ingredients except flavor. Just cookie-cutter rock to me.

Go to metalmayhemmusic.com and check out Ryan's new bands. Trixie, Julliet- Passion, and one other band I can't remember are superior to this.

See, that's so weird to me, because I like Heartless way more than Julliet... Julliet (at least their 1990 S/T) never did much for me... Just my opinion!

There is a copy of this on eBay right now....hey, Tim I saw Trixie on Ryan's site a few months ago...is it finally for sale yet?...I've been wanting that for some time now...Rock on!!

Sorry to stray off topic...never mind, Tim....I guess June for Trixie...anyhow, I really like 'Bite the Bullet' and 'Messin' Around' off of this disc...the other songs are OK...I agree with above comment stating if you can get a CDR of this and save the $100+ you'd be better off unless you are lucky and find someone selling it who doesn't know what they have...Rock On!!!

|
From: TIM |

You'd probably favor Heartless. I like Julliet way better despite the flaws. Some would disagree though. Heartless just never really sounded that special to me, no offence.

Julliet was great if you could ignore the shitty singer with the bad attitude. He was the most awful piece of crap singer. He was really at his best when HEARTLESS played in Tampa recently and he tried to get on the stage, some girl tackled him and tossed him to the ground, FUNNY FUNNY FUNNY.

The Heartless guys did their FINAL reunion concert and name change to ONE RED Wall on July 6, 2004 in New Port Richie , Fl. I recorded the video that a short clip can be seen on photo-cinema-graphics.com. The web site for the band is now ONEREDWALL.net and the new CD " Life" can be purchased there. They are updating the website... I also have pics of the guys. I can be E mailed at NCWindwalker@aol.com. Just put One Red Wall in the subject line........

Check out the production / class / backing vocal quality on this one!!! And it's an indie release. 'Fits like a glove' is a great hard rock opener, but 'Messin around' is the kind of song that put in the right hands could have made this band superstars. Unfortunately, like a million others that didn't happen and all we're left with is a very good indie release to speak of. Not worth in the ballpark of $113, but do yourself a favour and find a CDR. Great disc this one.

Que tal "Don't Tie Me Down" ehh? Buenísima!. Recomendado. 8.5/10

Wow. I am officially in love with this website. This is the second band I looked up from my wild younger days- had no idea they'd come out with a CD. Used to see them in Tampa at the Rock-it Club (wonder if that's who produced the CD?). Tommy was a doll! Sweetest guy ever- always smiling. We never missed a show! Must buy CD.

Yeah guys, agree with the good comments above...indie band that has something 2 offer..."Fits Like A Glove" is awesome!,"Messin' Around" is somehow AORish with some Glammy moments or at least it has some feel to it,reminded me of Poison here and there,"Don't Tie Me Down" is a rocking one & "You Got It" is likeable, with that "bar" intro...makes me wanna have some tequila shots! ...really pleasant mini album...86/100
