Hey, Dan, you're missin' two tracks on here, I'm sure I wrote 'em in. 7. The Last Time and 8. The Road. Hell, maybe I DIDN'T write 'em in. Sorry! |

First three songs are awesome, the rest are ok. And I agree with Metal_Ed, they really stunk after this cd. |

I loved Got no Shame when it was released...they played an acoustic version live on a local radio station when they were in town and it was fantastic. I expected alot more from this band. |

Great band. Love their debut and like the other two, although these didn't have the same impact. Damon is a very underrated singer and guitarist. His solo's have the same well-structured flowing qualities like Michael Schenker. I'm glad I had a chance to see 'em live in Holland once, opening for Joe Satriani. Hope Damon will record with John Waite with whom he toured. |

Is there a reaosn the 'Personnel' is empty...and why they only have one CD here...BOTHER CANE put out 3 AWESOME CDs..I perosnally liked them all..!! |

Stretch, I think I was drunk when I submitted this CD, as you can see, I left out two of the tracks as well originally. I couldn't remember the drummer's name and only had the disc with me at the time, not the jacket, anyway. I didn't submit the Seeds album because ... well ... I forgot I guess. |

I bought this one based souly on "Got No Shame" and found it was a pretty decent cd. While I don't like it all. There are parts I do very much enjoy. The real gems for me were "The Last Time" and "The Road". Of course this one is not my favorite in my collection, but I do pull it out from time to time to hear the few songs I do like. Another OK one, but again, far from essential to me. |

Fantastic southern hard-rock here. If the Black Crowes concentrated more on rocking out, instead of trying so hard to distance themselves from the music of the day and showing how "rootsy" and "eclectic" they were, they might approach what Brother Cane has on their debut. The music is laced with piano, organ and harmonica, but not overly much; the vocals are soulful, and the lyrics are well-written and fairly advanced ("Pressure" and 'That Don't Satisfy Me" are basically about wanting to get laid, but are done in a classy, somewhat circumspect way). My favorites would be "The Last Time, " the faintly gospel-tinged "How Long," "Woman," "Satisfy" (nice addition of some boogie-woogie piano), and of course, the flat-out ass-kicking harp-freakout "Got No Shame." |

Great band that only released 3 album and lasted 6 years in the rock scene...A band influenced by,i believe, the likes of The Black Crowes & Aerosmith..."Got No Shame"(a hit single)& "Hard Act To Follow" are my 2 faves in here...tracks 3,4,5,9 & 10 are cool songs as well...recommended...87/100 |

Superb debut for BROTHER CANE back in 93 with Damon Johnson shining with his performance!Their sound is somewhere between TESLA and BLACK CROWES on the 90s side of things of course! The guitar work is sensational and the vocals truly excellent while the songwriting is ok!"got no shame","don t turn your back on me","make your play" and "the last time" are great songs ! |

Man, I love this CD! It reminds of Aerosmith's bluesier moments. Damon Johnson has become a real heavy hitter and he's highly respected by his fellow musicians and this is where it all started. |
