This is Jeff Keith and Tommy Skeoch's band before Tesla got back together. JK's stamp is all over this thing, not surprisingly, but it also seems as though the boys might've listened to a leeeeettle bit too much Creed in some places. Most of the songs are ballads, at least in part. "She Don't" is the bad seed here, not very good. The others are very much like latter-day Tesla, and Jeff doesn't really vary his delivery too much here. The Fizz Picks: 2/3/5/7/10.

I was disappointed when I bought it as it was a bit modern. Then I saw them live and was sold. I hope the next Tesla album sounds more like this.

Bar 7...also known as "Tesla Lite". Jeff and Tommy did a hell of a job on this, along with the other guys in the band. If anything, they may have hurt themselves by sounding TOO much like classic Tesla. I can listen to this for hours on end, same as any Tesla album. Well worth locating if you like Tesla.

This album completely missed the mark for me. I am a huge Tesla fan and love all Tesla album, but this just did nothing for me. Jeff's vocals always have been and are awesome here too. The music is well played, but the songs are just dead in the water. Not a complete failure of a CD and I don't hate it - just missed the mark, as I said. Decent hard rock at best.

You think so Geoff? Wow... i thought this album could have easily been put out under the `Tesla` monicker The more i listen to this disc, the more it amazes me. Seriously. Highlight of the album has to be the amazingly catchy groove of `She Don't`.

I didn't bother looking the band up back when this record came out. I was burned out on the 80's hard rock & metal & wasn't ready. I recently picked this up for $6.00 at a used shop. And I was ready to hear this. Man, I'm glad I picked it up, this was the best $6.00 that I have spent in a while. It sounds like a Tesla record, the only thing missing in Hannon's signature stamp on these songs. There are a couple of snoozers on here, but for the most part this record rocks. In a modern way. 8.5!

I love Tesla, but just couldn't get into this album. Too many modern mid tempo tracks for my liking. They all just seem to be on auto pilot waiting for Tesla to get back together(which obviously happened). I would only recommend this to hardcore Tesla fans. 6/10....

Tesla with a more modern sound to them. I'm a huge Tesla fan and couldn't wait to get my hands on this one. Needless to say, I'm glad Tesla got back together and put this one behind them. I did like tracks 2 and 7 though.

If you ever like Tesla, then you will surely like this too, as it has elements of the Tesla sound dripping from every pore and lurking around every corner. Thats not just because of Jeff Keith's killer voice either. The song writing and sound style is just that similar. While the album only has a few really stand out tracks, the rest is so unbelieveably solid that the album is a great listen from start to finish. A great way to get a Tesla fix when there's no Tesla. Very recomended!

Tommy, guitarra y corazon.8.5/10

Everybody's right, this is not far off from Tesla's own material, but definitely more of the Bust A Nut/Into The Now variety than the first two albums. It's not a fun, party album, for sure, but the range of emotions and just good songwriting make it a winner. "4 Leaf Clover" and "Cellophane" are my favorites, with the latter being just about the bleakest, saddest love-gone-bad song I can think of. The only tune i don't care for is "She Don't," which just seems out of place.

Now look. I like a lot of what Tesla has done on Into The Now and Forever More. Like, not love. And it seems to me, Jeff Keith hasn't written a song as good as "4 Leaf Clover" since Tesla's reunion. I was making a Tesla compilation for a friend, and just had to squeeze that song on there, at the expense of some of their own post-2000 material. Had to be done.

Seems I come back to comment on this one every so often. Hell, it has "sentiemtnal value" for me. Anyway, I hav ea bootleg of a show these guys did over a year before this album came out, and they play several songs that didn't make the cut. Two in particular, called "Undone" and "Left For Dead" are excellent songs that I wish would've been on the album.

Geoff is spot on. The songs just don't do it. No hooks. The moders sounds doen't become them. Vocals are not the best eiter. Hit and miss.
