My Email is out, later when things are fixed I most certianly will Email ya. So whats it worth to ya??? The reason I ask is cause it was harder than shit to get ahold of. Everyone I asked said they had no clue who "AKA" was and wanted to know if it was spelled right!!! So If your interested give me a price cause I dont usually sell my CD's. I collect them, which means I have thousands(CD's-Albums-Cassetts)!!!

This is a top quality indie that has just started getting its just deserved attention from collectors. Filled with great vocals, keys and layered sound that makes for one of the better quality AOR/Melodic rock indies out there today. If you find a copy, latch on to it and hold tight......the price is going to really go up on this one before long as more and more collectors discover this little Gem!!!!

Tim turned me on to this band (thanks man!) and I can't get them out of my CD player. Every song (IMHO) is excellent. Why they were unable to attract a major label is beyond my comprehension. If this album had come out ten years earlier it would have been a monster. Lush ballads, driving beats, unique arrangements... And it's all wrapped up in nasty guitars and searing keys. This disc is a must for any AOR/Hard Rock fan. I only wish they had put out another.

TIM was kind enough to send me a CD-R of this bad boy and it's a great slice of American style hard rock fishing out of the same pond as Danger Danger, Trixter, Biloxi etc. I'm not sure I'd pay more than a $100 for it, but it's definitely worth throwing your wallet at.

This has been my favorite CD for about a month now. I might have to make a back-up of the CDR before it snaps in half from overuse. Anyone who hasn't heard it is missing an absolute classic.

Jeezus wept! Just looking at some comments here... I picked up a copy of this one on ebay for $10.00 - no CDR or anything. I believe it may be some kind of re-issue through Metal Mayhem, but either way the CD is excellent! Great ballsy hard rock with come melodic jems, great production too. Killer CD if you ask me.

Got this on ebay when I read comments on here. First thing I thought when I heard it was "shit, when did fm reform" The bulk of the tracks wouldn't have been out of place on any FM album (that's meant as a compliment). Well structured polished rock that gets better as the album goes on, the start sounded very 80's (no probs with that)more modern towards the end. Highlight has to be the stunning "Lava Lamp" only weak track for me was "Whispers" tried too hard, didn't work. Excellent album tho

When I first listened to this I wasn't impressed, but it grew on me after a while.Pretty good melodies.I thought it could be better produced to give a a little cleaner sound.not bad over all though.

Aka did press again this cd on 2003/4 if I well remember.I think it’s already rare also the re-issue even if it’s very poor and simple.I would like to find the original 1995 edition, one of my faves from the States!

This is one killer cd!! After the decent first track, each song except for the last one is brilliant, with awesome melodies that have you singing along in no time. Mark Thurston's unique vocals complement the music perfectly, and the guitarwork is great. Highlights include "Slow Down", "Lava Lamp" and "Make Me An Offer", with the latter being my favourite. However, barring the opening and closing tracks, all the others are simply superb!

Mixed comments above wich i entirely respect but IMHO this cd has something to offer...the problem is that with so many AOR/Melodic Hard Rock this one could pass without any notice...for me it is remarkable the year it was release (1995)...in that year was the "fever" of the grunge thing that killed all types of metal bands and basically buried AOR(which was worst)..."Slow Down" is a catchy song with a very good chorus,"Waiting For You" is a killer ballad,"Maryanne" & "Dangerous Addiction" both probably the best songs in here, catchy AOR sounds to our ears & "Lava Lamp" rocks well...give it a try, maybe not the best album ever but surely it gives us good songs backed up with a very melodic singer(Mark Thurston)....enjoyable...89/100
