A rather ho-hum release for the boyz back in their early dayz. "Woke Up This Morning", probably the only worthy addition to the cannnon, offers a catchy groove & fairly decent slide work. Some of the other acoustic tunes are worth mentioning like "Called Her Name", & "Fool About You" wouldn't have been out of place on their forthcoming Malice album. Otherwise, it's a rather laid back offering & features no trademark growls or ripping guitars that would dominate their future sound. |
