| Beatuful AOR/melodic hardrock from this very, very underrated great act ! I still have to hear their first weak release. Always far above average ! A recommended act !

| Agree with Freaky, I love this band (as I love Intruder). Probably the weakest of the 3, and certainly the least played due to some (god forbid) modern influences. Their debut is the best for me as it's the most consistent, but you can't go wrong with any of the 3 albums. Am not sure everyone's going to warm to his vocal style though....

| Oh dear... I must say I'm not the biggest fan of this one at all. Much better than 'Forget the rain', but still just a standard melodic rock release to these ears with few highlights. Just decent melodic rock. If someone wants to give me the debut I will blow a kiss and a tulip or two your way though. I would LOVE to hear the debut as people seem to rate that one very high. Hopefully a lot better than this pretty good release.

| Another killer melodic rock album by these lads from New Jersey/USA. Saw them live in Frankfurt/Germany many years ago opening for TYKETTO. Their debut album is a fresh dose of awesome pomp, this one is similar, only 1 filler(Whatīs Itīs Like)on offer, the other tracks are good and many are killers. Highlights for me are Still The Same, This I Know, Salvation, Hard To Hold Onto, Generation Clash & the title track. Still rate this over their follow up "Forget The Rain", I guess many will disagree

| Geoff, listen to ALL records from this act. You will be surprised ! And the debut is indeed great, but has a very weak production, mate ! But it is a good record, with a good production it would have been stunning !

| Rockhead, are you including "Forget the Rain"? I'm not even sure why that album has the Shotgun Symphony name as it doesn't sound like anything else they've done. It did for Shotgun Symphony what "Slang" did for Def Leppard. Nothing. I bought it, sold it, forgot it, and still choose to forget it...

| I know what you mean TIM (2) ! Agreed : Forget The Rain is not typical Shotgun Symphony and it sounds like an alternative act ! I understand that you forgot it ! The title should have been Foget This Disc ! Indeed not a good one, far from it. (with all these CD's I was indeed forgotten that this is just plain boring! Excuse me !). It's indeed like Slang for Leppard and Shadowlife for Dokken ! Minor points in their career !

| Indeed Tim(2) I am including "Forget The Rain" as it IS a SS release albeit a totally different direction. I actually quite like it and there are elements continued on "In the line of fire".

| Agree with Rockhead, isnīt Carousel Of Broken Dreams on "Forget The Rain" a great song, I love it. I think itīs even better than some of the sugar sweet melodies (Dancing On Fire) on "Sea Of Desire", yes it really rocks.

| Well Harald, I LOVE the sugar-sweet melodies. In fact I would argue there aren't enough of them on "Sea of Desire" to make it a great album (as the debut is). As Rockhead mentioned, I did omit "Forget the Rain" but that's because IMO it has very little to do with the type of music on this site. I think if someone did submit it here it would get slaughtered by most S.S fans, and quite rightly, as IMO it was tuneless crap.

| Average album with some good songs. "This I know" is a brilliant pop/rock song. The title track is very good as well.
