These guys are great. They went bankrupt just shortly after getting signed.

This CD kicks ass, it has attitude written all over it. Strictly sexual has a great catchy chorus, Dancer is another great track and missing you is just brilliant. A very diverse CD for a glam band with a lot of different sounding songs. In the vain of early poison and Pretty Boy Floyd with it's own style. I recommend this CD of anyone who loves glam with and edge, great stuff.

I'm glad someone else knows about these guys jayglam. If you see this cd on Ebay- get it! They sound quite a bit like early Poison as mentioned earlier and a bit like PBF. I personally like these guys better than PBF.

Tim. I`ll try to check them out. A buddy of mine has a huge collection, He`s been in the music business for years. I sometimes ``rip`` his collection of unreleased stuff. Usually by bands which is unknown. THats where the `fun`stuff is. I`ll try to ask if he can get the Glorious Bankrobbers S/T. He has a cd store, and might be able to get it. Are you familiar with Zoser Mez.???

I've heard of them but have no idea what they sound like. Concrete Jungle's pretty good. I'll gladly pay your friend for the Glorious Bankrobbers S/T. The Florida band Farrcry- Mr. Red White Blue might be up your alley.

This is a very good cd.... but not like the first disk of vain, faster pussycat, cats in boots or alleycat scratch.... hear Smelly Boggs , the best glam band in Italy, and in this moment , in the world!!!

Personally I think these guys are better than any of those you mentioned Fabio. Alleycat Scratch, Cats In Boots, and Vain are very boring to me. The first Faster Pussycat is pretty good too.

Ebay is the best way. The only seller that I've seen with it is davesmetal. I think his email is davesmetal@excite.com. I can find his phone number if you want to try that route. Email me at rio1harris@aol.com if you have any difficulties. It should only cost you between $10-$15 to get this.

These guys rock. The production on this CD is a bit subpar, but that doesn't detract from the musicianship of the band. The music reminds me a bit of Ratt and the singer sounds a bit like Mark Slaughter in some areas (especially on track 3). Danny Kopco kicks ass on guitar. Highly recommended CD. I do have to say though that Vain's No Respect is still better than this, Tim...but this still is an awesome rocker.

Hey, it's Jim (singer of Maximum) I just want to thank you all for your encouraging comments on a project that's now about 15 years old. Sunset records picked it up a few months ago and it's very cool to have new people listening to it. Thanks again, Jim jimpgray@attbi.com

No offence HairMetalManiac, I think Vain is among the worst bands ever. Maximum would kick their ass any day IMHO.

Still in my Disc Changer since I procured this rocker...Track 5 is my FAV and absolutely rocks...Hey Tim, I don't know what it is about Vain I like, I just do...to each their own...just to put a small feather in your cap, when looking to buy a CD I know little or nothing about I check the reviews to see what you say 'cause for the most part what you like, I like and I respect your opinion...Rock on!!

Thanks for the compliment. No offence, the reason I didn't like Vain is because I felt the vocals were too lite for the more rocking tunes. To me they clashed.

Wow, I'm amazed to see this band's name here...when I was a college newspaper rock critic, I wrote to these guys for a demo after reading about'em in Metal Forces magazine. I got a signed photo back and a note saying that they weren't releasing anymore demos because they were about to release their first album. I waited and waited, yet the album never saw the light of day. Enigma apparently went under before it was released. Shame, but cool to see someone finally put it out!

Just got this from Perris Records and I think it's a great album and a nice little addition to my collection. Love the tracks "Dancer" and "Pennies From Heaven". The comparisons to Poison and PBF aren't too far off but I don't think they're quite as much glam as they are hard rock. HairMetalManiac mentions the low production value. On my cd the last few songs really take a dive soundwise which is distracting when trying to enjoy the music, but the cd is still worth getting.

This is Andi from Sunset Records in Germany. I released the Maximum album-Just for kicks. Great to hear that the CD got such a great response. I really love it, too! If somebody can supply me material from 80ties Hard-Rock/Glam bands to re-issue, please contact me under battlecryrecords@gmx.de

This is a great glam hard rock release, even if the vocals get on my nerves quite a bit. 'Pennies from heaven' is a lovely ballad, 'Missing you' is a killer caommercial rocker and 'Here come those tears again' is another lovely ballad. It is a great collection of glam and my only issue is with the vocalist trying to over-do the Steve Summers-esque glam vocal sound, which really gets on the nerves every now and then. Still, very cool CD.

This album rocks. In Just For Kicks I can hear the passion of that guys about the music they play, that attitude they have is awesome. And in Dancer the solo kicks ass(and in Just For Kicks too). But too bad the cd isnt mine(lol). Here in Greece you cant find anything at all.No Cats In Boots,no Gotthard,no Zodiac Mindwarp. Too bad companies dont give a little attention to this kind of countries. Many, many people love these bands and only from a radio now and then.Something must be done immediately!

What the Hell here!!!Super KILLER sleaze/glam,moster riffs, catchy and ebergic tunes, great vox...FANTASTIC!!!One of the best in the genre heard in the last years indeed. It's funny the comparison:they remind me to a mix between Roxxi and Roxx(ahahaha the funniest comparison but it's true)with also some Skid Row elements...my rate is 10/10 here,HIGHLY RECOMMENDED,A MUST FOR ALL SLEAZE FANS!!!

If you're looking for the maximum amount of pleasure that can be gleaned from a sleaze-tinged, glam-laced hard rock album...well, look somewhere else. But just because this CD isn't top tier within the genre doesn't mean it's not good. On the contrary, while other bands have done this style better, these guys definitely kick out some serious attitude and crank-it-up-'til-your-ears-bleed energy.

pretty good release by MAXIMUM back in 89 when the world had big hair and was rockin!all the basic elements of that golden era are in this one and this is a quite enjoyable release.the strong point is the guitar work which is quite professional and the weak are the vocs!best songs are "dancer","lil liar","just for kicks" and "stictly sexual".
