If you see any errors or omissions in the CD information shown above, either in the musician credits or song listings (cover song credits, live tracks, etc.), please post them in the corrections section of the Heavy Harmonies forum/message board.

The music discographies on this site are works in progress. If you notice that a particular Rhino Bucket CD release or compilation is missing from the list above, please submit that CD using the CD submission page. The ultimate goal is to make the discographies here at Heavy Harmonies as complete as possible. Even if it is an obscure greatest-hits or live compilation CD, we want to add it to the site. Please only submit official CD releases; no bootlegs or cassette-only or LP-only releases.

EPs and CD-singles from Rhino Bucket are also welcome to be added, as long as they are at least 4 songs in length.

After the band's triumphant return on And Then It Got Ugly, The Hardest Town is only a little disappointing. It's the same L.A. gutter-dwelling AC/DC-like boogie-rock the Bucket always delivers, but there's a bit of a change, maybe more in spirit. Toward the end of the disc, the songs seem to be a bit moodier, and loneliness and alienation seem to be explored a lot on songs like "No One Here," "You're Gone," "To Be Mine" and "Slippin' Away." Also, Georg sings more than he yells, so we get even more of that strange, almost Tom Petty-like croon. Classic Rhino Bucket moments still appear in the title track, "Justified," "Know My Name," "Street To Street" and "She's With Me." Obviously, that "track 12" above is a mistake. There is a bonus track, by download only, so it's not a part of the CD itself. It's a cover of "Vision Thing" by Sisters Of Mercy.

Agree with Doghouse. Not that this is a bad release, it's pretty much just the same 'ol from these guys.

i agree with doghouse a bit about this it does sound a little moodier towards the end i haven't heard and then it got ugly yet apart from welcome to hell i would say it's on par with pain but i like the title track, justified, know my name, dog don't bite, street to street and she's with me i will have and then it got ugly soon keep riding rhino bucket hey doghouse have you heard aussie band airbourne? check them out if you haven't and let me know what you think start with the first release runnin' wild i think you might like them cheers guys

Yeah man, I like Airbourne a lot. I bought both their CD's when they were first released. The whole AC/DC, "three chords and a cloud of dust" (to quote Georg Dolivo) formula is one of my favorite styles, whether it be the original, or Rhino Bucket, Broken Teeth, Airbourne or whoever. And I think you'll really like And Then It Got Ugly.
