Solid hard rock in the "You know who" vein. Buy it used and you'll be happy all week!

It's hard to put my finger on exactly what's different about this album. Maybe a little bit of a darker feel to the music. Not as catchy. Still a few good tunes, but I only gave it a 6. The Fizz Picks: "Mad Maggie," "I Was Told," "The Hard Grind" and the best one, "What'd You Expect."

not as good as the first two, but still not bad. "i was told" "pain" and "i stand before you" my fav's

While not as good as the debut (my favorite) or Get Use to It, it is a good album. Just takes a bit of getting use to. I does not immediately grab you like the first two releases. Best cuts: Pain, Mad Maggie and What'd you expect? If you are new to the band go to the first two releases and graduate to this one. I sure hope they are indeed reunited and gonna put some new stuff out. The rock world deserves it. We need a break from the drivel that is being put out now...

I don't mind the "HEAVY" AC/DC influence on these 3 CD's. The Debut is the FIRST choice, then this one, "PAIN" and the 2nd is ok. It is a little darker like someone said, and more pissed off. Strong riffing and screams by Georg Dolivo!! I would say the Bucket are better than AC/DC at times. These albums are what AC/DC should have made in the later years!! When I listen to this CD, my lips are pursed downwards and I'm locked in a groove. It's evil sounding! Production is TOP notch, Power Drums!

A lot of smack talkin' about this band on comments sections for all 3 releases. They are what they are; a pretty good hard rocking band! New release to come out called "And Then it Got Ugly." Heard a sample...not bad.

From: Doghouse Reilly Date: February 14, 2009 at 3:03
I'm surprised by the low rating, although I admit there are a few sorta sluggish, not very interesting songs here, like "Blow By Blow" and the title track. Otherwise, Pain is a little heavier, with a tiny bit more experimentation in the way the guitars are played. The lyrics are a bit darker as well. And I gotta say, the drum sound is terrific! The second half of the disc is better than the first, but highlights are "I Stand Before You," "Mad Maggie," "I was Told," the thoroughly kick-ass "What'd You Expect," the sullen "Hard Grind," and a big of a surprise, the slowish, brooding story-song of "Bird On A Wire." Real interesting tune.

with the arrival of simon wright as we all know played drums with ac/dc maybe there was a little expectation though if you look at it simon wrights arrival in ac/dc,dio and rhino bucket are all considered these bands weakest era's coincodence? not that he's a bad player he pounds the drums well clearly not as good as the first 2 albums but worthy enough like pain,i stand before you, blow by blow, mad maggie,i was told, what'd you expect and bird on a wire i'm so glad they came back great band

From: hair metal again Date: September 19, 2014 at 3:15
pretty good release by RHINO BUCKET in the same vein lie their previous ones!i really like the production and the sound, the songs are ok ,the vibe is quite hard rockin ,but i d need some more catchy and hard edged tunes !"bird on a wire","mad maggie" and "blow by blow" the best songs of this ok release!
