This is Robby's strongest release since his 1995 'Valentine' CD. 'What in the World I'm Waiting For' has a truly enormous sound and chorus!! Will blow you away faster than that black leather-wearing wench from the second Superman movie. Very pompous, perfectly produced, dynamics and hooks to spare... Robby can do no wrong!!

This album is full of hit singles, listen to 'A New Tomorrow', 'The Way To Get Home', 'Make Way For The Messanger' or the wonderful title track with the upfront piano melody. There´s also a mini rock opera on the album called 'Now Forever & 1 Day' which is similar to 'I Believe In You' or the 'Valentines Overture Part 1+2' anthems. classic stuff indeed IMHO.

Bombastic Rock at it's very best with 'greetings' from Queen - you can't go wrong with this CD...

Robby offers somewhat of a return to the more immediate hooks of the earlier albums. Is still a little patchy, and nowhere close to those early albums (and Koogles, I'd take '4 United' over this one), but put into context this was among the best 2 or 3 releases of 2000. The man is a genius, no less.

This is definately back to the sound of the first 2 albums, although not quite on par with those. This features one of my alltime fave RV tracks - the amazing 'Fear Of Heights'.The rest is pretty awesome aswell (as with most of his other material) and is a real return to form after the patchy 'No Sugar Added' album. Another Jap only release, so it will set you back a few quid, but it's well worth the investment!!

From: Nick C Date: October 14, 2006 at 22:27
I personally don't think RV has made a bad album, even No Sugar Added has some fantastic songs on, but Believing is Seeing is fast turning out to be my favourite album of his. Again a wide range of different styles coupled with some brilliant over the top performances make this an album that gets played all the way through over and over again. It may not quite be as immediate as some of his other works but it really shines out once you get to know it. The title track alone is worth the price.

What a shame on Polydor for not releasing this in Europe and the rest of the world, japanese only as usual. Record labels should be managed by music fans who know what´s in the hearts of music fans and not economists. They sure left out on a golden opportunity here. This is GREAT GREAT music!!!
