i don't care what anyone says, this is alice's BEST album! i think He's Back is definetly his best tune, i mean c'mon, it's about Jason from Friday the 13th!!! A totally awesome 80's teen rebel album.

From: SIXXSWINE Date: February 13, 2002 at 22:18
I guess this was meant to be the "comeback" album? While it didn't get much attention from the rock community, this is a better album that what WAS the "comeback" album "TRASH." While it's a mixed bag at best, it still fairs better than TRASH. Pick this one up, not only because it's Alice, but Kip Winger plays bass on here. Unlike in Winger! 5.5 on the SWINE SCALE!

The songs Teenage Frankenstein and The World Needs Guts are killers- Kane Roberts is a wicked guitar player!

From: steve Date: April 16, 2003 at 13:03
i have this one its, great, cool how they tied it in with Friday the 13th

From: Scandinavia Date: June 27, 2003 at 17:30
Normally everybody disses this album...I don't get it...It may not be anywhere near his Poison album but songs are cool and very sinister at times...Kane's playing reminds me alot of Steve Stevens' on Whiplash Smile with Billy Idol...And yes, although "Man behind..." almost has no guitars it's a fabulous track...Creepy...The melody line of "Trick Bag" was originally intended(And recorded!) for "Man behind...". I have that version...Not very good! Glad they changed the melody...

Teenage Frankenstain was my first contact to this album. My brother recorded Alice collection for me and that track was only one from this album. It was best song in that tape. I got the whole album right after. 10 tracks dynamite! World needs guts!!

From: James Date: April 21, 2004 at 23:34
it's a good record, don't let the influence of the RAP CRAP PC crowd stop u. ROCK NOW !!!! ROCK LATER !!!!! ROCK 4-LIFE!!!

From: Big Papa K Date: June 25, 2004 at 2:05
Terrible album. Alice jumps on the heavy metal bandwagon and creates an album sounding like it was written by ten year olds. "Teenage Frankenstein" is good and "He's Back" stands out because it is so different from the rest of the songs. Everything else is crap. And "Trick Bag" sounds exactly like "He's Back". 3/10

Después de Trash, mi disco favorito de Alice Cooper. Fué escuchar "Life and death of the party" y pillarmelo rápido. Luego están las vacilonas "Teenage Frankenstein", "Crawlin"...bonissim!

" You're with your baby and your parked alone on a summer night, your deep in love but your deeper in the woods, you think you're doing alright " ??? Oh my--run Alice or else Jason will get you! ...Now this is just sh*t. A Sorry 1/10.

From: Aussie Dave Date: March 20, 2005 at 16:04
This was the first Alice album i heard. I was 12 at the time. Still holds a soft spot with me, but overall, this is just an ok release. Better than his last few efforts though. Teenage Frankenstein, Trick Bag, Simple Disobedience and Life And Death Of The Party are all pretty cool tracks. He's Back was a song used from a Friday The 13th movie whick was supposed to be scary. Don't know which was scarier, the movie or the song. Not Alice's best album, but certainly not his worst. 7.5/10....

From: Andrew Date: May 30, 2005 at 22:47
Lots of songs on here are corny or over-the-top, but I like this one anyway. Highlights include "The World Needs Guts", "Teenage Frankenstein", and "Simple Disobedience". "He's Back" is a little disappointing. If anyone could've done a kickass song about Jason from Friday the 13th, it would be Alice Cooper. But this song sounds like typical crappy early 80's pop. He should have passed that one on to Madonna or Michael Jackson. I give this album an 8/10.

The big Alice Cooper comeback album. We all ate it up when it was released in '86. At least he had dumped the new wave crap and was back making music for the hordes of fans of his former glory. In retrospect, this isn't Alice's most shining moment, but it's still a fun listen. "Teenage Frankenstein" in particular is prime Alice IMO. I think the problem here is that Alice was following the trends in music rather than leading them like he did in the 1970's. 7.5/10

From: VICE Date: October 14, 2007 at 13:41
I like a few of Alice's albums & this is one of them. I'm a 80s freak! This ain't my favourite by Alice but it's good, but they could have used the movie version of "He's Back" instead of the album version that's missing the magic the movie version has. Other great moments here are "Life & Death Of The Party" & "Teenage Frankenstein". Definitely worth buying!

ONE OF ALICE'S BEST "CRAWLING" IS JUST GRRRRRRRRRREATT

From: pie75 Date: July 12, 2010 at 9:48
this was alices comeback album and alice on his way to glam rock good album still teenage frankenstine, thrill my gorilla and trick bag are fine stuff and clearly alice just wanted to rock again

From: fireforce kai Date: July 21, 2011 at 21:18
As pie75 said, this was Alice's comeback album. Good rocking tunes like "Teenage Frankenstein", "Give It Up", "The World Needs Guts" and the catchy "The Man Behind The Mask". It paved the way for the better "Raise Your Fist And Yell".

From: hair metal again Date: October 17, 2011 at 5:19
good release by ALICE COOPER with great sound and musicianship but not so many good songs.Beau Hill in production ,Kane Roberts in guitars and Kip Winger in bass is an all star lineup ,but i expected the songs better.highlights are "life and death of the party","crawlin'" and "give it up".enjoyable release

From: rick kerch vzla Date: November 24, 2011 at 22:09
If u wanna party then get this one!!!...good catchy rocking songs with somehow an AOR flavour additive...my favorite one has to be the very AORish song "He's Back(The Man Behind The Mask)" and then these other goodies "Teenage Frankenstein","Give It Up","Simple Disobedience","The World Needs Guts" & "Trick Bag"...enjoyable to the top!!!...85/100
