Man this group use to play at the Magic Attic at Myrtle Beach, SC All summer long. This band rocks. And you want to talk about rare, the cd is almost impossible to find. If you find it get it. |

But this is second album...the first The Greek released in 1986 |
From: Enzoleader | Date: October 13, 2003 at 11:17 |
They also released an EP called "Loaded and Lethal" containing the following: "Keri-Anne", "High Roller", "911", "I like it loud". Then they continued under the name "Sugarcreek". |

Magic Attic - Myrtle Beach SC - 1987. Jerry was the bomb. Voice like Bono licks like Van Halen. The Creek opened for Honeymoon Suite once while I was down there. If you don't have this album. You need it. |

From: Lennie | Date: March 1, 2005 at 7:44 |
This is a great album which is let down slightly by a lull in the middle - the last track is killer though, make no mistake! |
From: AOR freaky | Date: March 2, 2005 at 7:22 |
I agree with the above : great stuff indeed ! |
From: TIM (2) | Date: March 2, 2005 at 14:42 |
I've no idea why this was deserving of a re-issue as IMO it's pretty tame MHR that is completely devoid of hooks and decent melodies. "On My Way" has the best chorus line, but the rest is completely forgettable. Very dated sounding too, almost sounding from the 70's. Not really worth bothering with IMO. 5/10. |

Hey Tim(2)!Sorry mate but for you the first 2 songs are not killers???Totally could be agree a little with you, contains some filler track, but just for the first 2(Killers 100 times!!!!)I consider it a must. In"Storm the gate"and"Rock me tonight"they show theit possibilities but unfortunately there aren't songs with the same energy or originality after those 2.BTW for these 2 killers I think it's a must for all melodick fans,IMO. |

From: Rafo Phoenix | Date: September 26, 2005 at 10:08 |

From: rick kerch vzla | Date: June 14, 2011 at 14:58 |
This second album by The Creek is more rock oriented than their previews one that is a killer AOR release but still kicks heads off!!!..."Storm The Gate","Foxy","Hanky Panky"( ),"Passion","Fountain Of Youth"( bass playing),"Bad Light","On My Way" & the bonus tracks "Keri Anne" & "High Roller" are top notch songs indeed ...recommended 4 sure...88/100 |
From: Kim HP | Date: July 11, 2011 at 18:03 |
What an amazing band this was. All their releases are top-notch: from the AOR masterpieces under the name Sugarcreek to the more hard rock-oriented Creek albums, this band could do no wrong. Great vocals, fantastic songs...you get my drift. Recommended! |
From: hair metal again | Date: April 13, 2012 at 11:31 |
THE CREEK was such a talented band, but something was missing from the songs and they didnt make the impact they could!Tim Clark s vocals are so passionate and Jerry West s guitars are so fine, the hooks are there but there isnt any big hit that could lift them !overall this one is a great hard rock release with songs like "bad light","on my way","storm the gate","girl is crying"!THE CREEK should have been bigger!!!! |
