Sep. 6, 2025: Update: Temporary Message Board ClosureUpdate: Board ourage has been delayed due to consultant's schedule. Outage TBD. The company hosting the message board sprung a surprise price hike on me that would have more than tripled the monthly hosting costs, so I've been scrambling to find an alternative. I've purchased a license for self-hosting a different platform and am hiring a consultant to migrate the existing board's content (posts, user profiles, etc.). However, this means I need to shut down the message board for anywhere from 3 days to (hopefully less than) a week so the data can be migrated. While this is an expensive proposition up front, it should result in some long-term savings. I will post updates here. The main site (where you are reading this), will NOT be affected. -Dan |

OK, I will start it so we don't have to repeat it over and over. This is not the original band, sound or feel. But the original band wouldn't sound the same now as in the 70's. That said, this is a solid album and consider the year, is better than most albums that came out in the mainstream market. The songs are solid and with Rickey and Hughie added on guitar the band is energized and playing more solid together since the 1977 line-up. No, Ronnie can never be replaced in history. Give a try |
