Autograph is my favorite band, but when I bought "Missing Pieces" I was a little disappointed. It seemed to lack the magic of their previous work. Steve Lynch's guitar work seemed much more tame on this album, except for the track: "Heart Attack" which is disappointing because he is so gifted. There are some good songs like: "Heart Attack", "Sanctuary", "Sweet Temptation", and "Angel In Black," but overall it pales in comparison to "Loud And Clear" which was recorded only 2 years earlier. Get lo

steve plunkett y compañía debió haber editado antes estos temas q conformarían su cuarto album de estudio .geniales canciones como "when i´m gone" ,"sanctuary" ,"i´ve got you"o "heart attack" siempre con su sonido 100% hard rockero .maravilloso!!!!

I have an Autograph webpage. It has a biography, discography, pictures, MP3's, real media video clips from all of Autograph's videos, and updates on what the band members are currently doing. Here is the address: http://www.anycities.com/autograph/autograph.htm

Some call this AUTOGRAPH's worst; I call it their best. Gone are the dated, chintzy keyboards, replaced by all-out melodic hard rock that has a bit more bite than the band's previous efforts. "Sanctuary" & "Angel in Black" rank right up there with "She Never Looked That Good For Me" as some of the best songs this group has ever penned. Driving guitars, big hooks, catchy choruses...if this CD is missing from your collection, rectify your oversight immediately.

Missing Pieces is basically what it says. Songs that have been found and rediscovered and unreleased and put together to for the first Autograph record in many years. They are a band that never got to the big time, although lead by the great talent of Steve Plunkett, came very close. For fans of the band, there is definately going to be something here for them. Steve isn't the greatest singer in the world, but at their best Autograph were a tight little unit.

This one was better than I expected. Autograph were always a pretty good band, but this packs a little more punch than their previous albums.

Hell, I like this one better than "Sign In Please" too! "Angel in Black", "Sanctuary", and "Heart Attack" are killer songs. Throw in the demo version of "Turn Up the Radio",and this one is stronger than their debut as well. Not bad for a bunch of demos and unreleased tracks!

Talk about saving the best for last!!! I could be wrong, but I'm of the impression that Steve Plunkett writes awesome melodic rock songs, but his idea of gem and filler might be opposite to most other people's. 'Heart Attack' is the best hard rocking track these guys did IMO, 'When I'm Gone' is as good as 'She never looked' and is one of my top 2 fave Autograph songs - simply sensational, 'I've Got You' is really beautiful ballad, 'Sweet Temptation' is killer hard rock with killer guitar, 'Love

'Love Comes Easy' again has hooks to weep over and is another true gem, 'Angel in Black' was obviously done much better by Bangalore Choir, but is a great song any way it's done. 'Angela' is pretty cool too. Basically, as far as I'm concerned this is by far Autograph's most consistent release and essential to all fans. Man 'When I'm gone' is great!!!

This album isn't nearly as good as their first 3 studio albums. But that's to be expected, since these are mostly just demos. All in all, worth the buy if you're an Autograph fan.

From: Dx7 Date: October 30, 2021 at 7:46
Angel in Black (future Bangalore Choir song) and When I'm Gone are even better than Hold On Maria from the Danger Danger demos.
